Thailand, Sunday
Jisoo
"Will we stay here?" My eyes widened as I looked at the grandiose hotel we stepped in. I won't be surprised if it's a 5 star calibre. I eyed Haein suspiciously as he spoke to one of the receptionists, now handing him a keycard. He pushed the luggage in one hand, his other hand locking against mine as we approached the elevator. His eyes squinted around us. Several men were ogling at me since we came, thanks to my sharp vision I was able to notice. And of course he saw those adorable eyes on me.
"Sulking and a territorial vampire. I am about to lose adjectives to describe you." I teased him as the elevator door opened. I could hear him gritting his teeth. His hand let go of the luggage the moment we stepped in, now sliding it on my back, particularly on my waist, pulling me a bit. "Wolves are territorial, not vampires." He hissed. I laughed out loud with his remark, luckily it was just the two of us inside.
"It's hard to have a boyfriend with a split personality." I joked. His tense look softened and he smiled.
We reached the top floor where our room was located, and I was speechless because the suite was what….. looks extremely expensive. And it had the nicest balcony view.
"Are we really meeting someone here in Thailand? I think you are lying." I said as my sight explored the view. My feet dragged me automatically to the balcony. Overlooking Phuket. It was indeed mesmerizing.
"You think I brought you here for a date?" He asked back, snaking his arms on my shoulder. Both of us were leaning on the railings.
"Did you? If really not, who are we meeting?"
Haein giggled at me. "Hard to have an impatient girlfriend."
He pulled me close, reaching for my lips. My eyes shut as I felt his warmth against mine. It was tender and passionate, longer than the usual, and he pulled away as we raced our heartbeats. "You will meet him in an hour."
Him. Curiosity is killing me.

Plane ticket, extravagant hotel, car rental. This was so unusual of him. "How did you manage to arrange all of this?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked, eyes never leaving the road. "This trip?" I followed through.
"Online." He casually replied. My face frowned further. "I know the online stuff Jisoo. Booking and ordering things and all sorts of things. Don't give me that "he-is-old" look."
"Have you been here before? I mean in Thailand?"
"Twice."
"Why?" I tilted sideways to look at him. My question was left unanswered.
My eyes reverted back on the road. We are heading to a mountainous area. Are we gonna go mountain climbing even in Thailand?
"Aren't you gonna tell me now who we are meeting?" The car swerved to an unknown road. It was quite rocky, but he kept on going. We have been travelling for more than half an hour already.
"We are here." He announced.
The car stopped on a seemingly forest entryway. Two huge old trees that looked like pillars. I don't know if I am just imagining things, but both trees looked like they were bowing when Haein climbed down from the car. My body hair went up for real.
My brows went up higher as I felt chills all over my body. The trees were standing too upright when we came, but they really bent. I mean I was in denial at first, and I almost forgot my vision was way beyond perfect. Haein faced me as he transferred his elf necklace to my neck. More trees swayed around us, as if they were greeting someone.
