1 month later…
Jisoo
"Wake up, sleepyhead." Haein poked me at my side. The sun seeped through the curtains of our room.
Our family decided to stay here in Jeju, that includes Haein's family. After that night, the Elves bid their goodbye and returned to the Uppers, Sev to be back on his "mundane life", Rose, Thirdy and the twins will go back to Seoul. Mom resumed her work in the hospital and uncle on his workshop. Jiwon worked remotely for her business and closed her physical store. Haein and I, Nini and Bat halted schooling and will enrol to a school here in Jeju next year.
Everyday, our hearts ache for Hyuk as we all missed him so much, but our hearts were getting better as each day passed.
Today, we are all set to get up early. It's been a month since he left us, and we planned to camp at the hill all day.
"Jisoo."
"Hmmm." I mumbled lazily under a pillow. My body just don't want to leave the bed yet.
"Aren't you craving for anything?"
It's been a month, and everyday, Haein kept on asking me if I am craving for something as if he's expecting anything I wanted.
"You've been asking that to me everyday. Am I supposed to crave for anything?" Maybe I asked that question to him a gazillion times since that day. And he never gave me an answer to it. Rather, he always gave me a puzzled look. "I am not craving either." He whispered but enough for me to hear.
"Are we supposed to crave together?"
He heaved a deep sigh as he stood up, leaving me alone again. He was walking towards the door when I appeared in front of him quickly, stopping him from leaving. "Can you just tell me what's wrong? I am really worried about his daily craving questions.
Since that day he ressurrected me, our abilities slightly shifted. Both of us now had sharp eyes, ears and reflexes, I can move quickly now just like him. His power on nature now were beyond imaginable especially on how long he'll be able to stop time as if his elf power was fueled. I don't have the elf power that he had, but pyrokinesis is something I attained when our bloods collide, something he didn't have.
There were common abilities, and there were distinct ones. His unique power was that of an elf, and mine, a phoenix.
"Aren't you craving for—
Our talk was interrupted when Nini barged in unannounced. She automatically turned around us, and I was flustered to realize I'm only wearing his shirt on.
"Slip on your clothes lovebirds. We'll be leaving in half an hour." And she fled out the doorway like a lightning, leaving us alone.
"Haein—
"Never mind." He scooted me for a forehead kiss. "Let's just get ourselves ready." He scooped me up in one go, bringing myself with him to the bathroom.

It was nine in the morning, and the sun was shining too bright above the hill.
My mom and Jiwon were both holding beautiful flower arrangements and carefully laid them on dads' graves.
It's been a month. But unlike mom's revengeful look on the past years everytime we visit dad, things were different. The vibe was purely serene and peaceful.
Half an hour staying on the hill, I suddenly feel hot and dizzy.
"Can you hide the sun for me? I am so nauseous I feel like I am throwing up." I whispered lowly to Haein. "You are feeling well?" He asked back. I just nodded lightly.
