Haein

No news the next day of what had happened inside the school premises. And I had to restrain myself from making hasty decisions. Or else someone will do the mission on my behalf. That would mean I lose track of her.

"Are you okay Haein? You looked so tense. Aunt Jiwon told me about your werewolf form." Nini asked, concerned.

"The Parks attacked Jisoo last night. The siblings."

"What?!!!! Why, oh fucking shit."

"They are here." Mingue whispered.

Standing in front of us, meters away were Lisa on the right facing Nini, Jackson on the left looking at, Mingue, Jinyoung on the middle, his looks mocking me.

"Hold it Haein. You don't want students watching vampire fights in broad daylight, do you? You want us on Seoul headlines?" Nini hissed, though annoyance is evident in her voice.

Jinyoung and the rest stepped forward. He smiled slyly.

"You are too brave to come out on your werewolf form buddy, I wonder what Jisoo will feel once she finds out you are supposedly here to kill her." Jinyoung whispered, taunting me.

"Shut up Park."I hissed, gritting my teeth.

I am about to lose my patience. Anything that concerns Jisoo now is making me throw my patience and sanity in the drain.

"Why did you attack her?" I asked glaring at him.

"Let's just say we wanted to see her regenation power, how fast—

He didn't finish his sentence. I grabbed him by the collar and in a snap, we were on the side of the building, me pushing him on the wall.

"Don't you fucking dare touch her, I will never hesitate to twist your head the next time."

"Haein, put him down." Nini is now in panic mode.

My insides wanted to rip him apart and into pieces.

I released him, but my eyes never left his, my looks piercing every bit of him.

Jinyoung fixed his collar.

"I was sent to protect her, and you are sent to kill. I am excited to see her reaction." He continued.

"Haein." Mingue gave me a tight grip. "Let's go."

"You are not here to protect her. You all have interests in her because her blood will empower your clan Park. Protect? Don't make me laugh. You are all nothing better."

I removed Mingue's hand from my arms.

"Don't you dare me. Don't even try. You will never want to see the worst version of me, Park."

I walked away from everyone else. The Elder nor the Park's wanted her for their own benefit.

I wanted to scream. I'm about to burst. There's something inside me that I can't explain.

I just briefly met her. Why is her connection to me so deep that my system was so disarray? Completely disarray.

I'm so fucking lost.

"Why are you in a hurry meeting me? Something's wrong?" She asked

"Why are you in a hurry meeting me? Something's wrong?" She asked.

She really did cut classes. We met at the back of the campus, walking into the mountain trail. Few minutes, we were at the mountain foot, in a less crowded area from the hikers.

"Don't go anywhere near the Parks." I whispered. I tried to sound platonic as much as possible.

"Why? They are our classmates."

Yeah why. Is it just because of the threat?

"I just don't want you to." I replied, almost hissing.

"I won't avoid them, unless you give me a valid reason."

"Jisoo, please."

"No Haein. That was unreasonable so no."

She was about to turn around when I pulled her back, wrapping her on my arms.

"Stay away from Jinyoung. I don't want to see him coming near you."

She took a deep sigh but never let go. "One reason Haein."

"I like you Jisoo. Would that be enough?"
