"I wanted to come if you are going to meet your sister, Seop." Hyuk offered. They were all sitting in the dining area.
"I have to talk to her first. But before we went to her, I wanted us to create a concrete plan on how we are going to protect my niece." Jiwon and Hyuk agreed to him.
The four went down from their rooms and joined them.
"What's with the urgent meeting?" Haein pulled a chair for Jisoo and for himself, Nini and Bat sat across from them. There were seven of them. To organize their plans against the Elder.
"Where do we start now?" Seop asked.
They exchanged glances. Unsure where to start.
"I am perfectly sure we will be outnumbered by the Elder's army. That would be around a hundred or two. And they are not ordinary vampires. Trained vampires." Mingue casually said, smirking. Nini elbowed him and sighed deeply. Hyuk laughed at his remark, Seop's face was crumpled.
"What?" Mingue exclaimed. "I work for them and sure Hyuk was. He knew what I was talking about."
Hyuk nodded at him. "Mingue was just setting our expectations. But he was not wrong. And Eun Woo was training them, another powerful young core vampire like Haein. That means it will be ruthless."
"Are you saying we don't have any hope then?" Seop asked unbelievably. His eyes darted at Jisoo. Haein gritted his teeth when Jisoo lowered her head. Haein reached for hand and held it.
"We can check on possible reinforcements." Hyuk continued. If we will be able to have Jihyo on our side, we will be eight. I can ask old friends who are against the Elder's reign. There are still pure blooded vampires I knew who were part of the uprising who despised him. We can reach out to them."
"We can get the twins on our side. Jay and Kay. Make it ten."
"I don't think you should be including me on your count. I won't be of great help to you anyways. I don't have skills, nor superpowers." Their heads turned to Jisoo as she spoke. Sadness and guilt registered in her voice.
