The Hashira training was long over.

Tanjiro was likely at the Swordsmith Village. He had been gone for about a week now and still no word back.

It wasn't of too much concern to Giyuu, Tanjiro was probably training while he stayed there waiting for his blade to be ready anyway.

The only thing he had to focus on now was-

"Hey! Hey!" Shinobu waved her hand in front of his face.

"Sorry, what were you saying?" Giyuu asked as he regained his bearings.

"You're spacing out on me again."

"Am I not that interesting?" She said with a fake pout.

"I was lost in thought, sorry."

"What's so important that you have to think about it over me?"

Giyuu didn't have an answer for that one.

"Nothing....." he mumbled.

"Well, as I was saying, what do you want to do today? We have the entire day off and I'm sure you don't want to go train by yourself again." Shinobu reiterated

"I'm not too good with these things...." He admitted looking for ideas.

"We could go shopping, we could go eat somewhere, we could go explore around-... actually, I have somewhere later I want to go." She suggested.

"We can go there first if you'd like."

"No, no, we'll go there later." Shinobu reaffirmed.

"I'll follow you wherever you want to go." Giyuu said not caring what she wished to do so long as they were together.

"If you say so, I've been meaning to go to a few places." Shinobu returned his sentiment with a smile, she was not going to pass up the chance to have him all alone for the day.

(1 hour later)

"I've never been here before." He said as he looked around.

Shinobu had brought him to a decently far away town for some 'sightseeing' as she told him.

"There's a publishing house here with a few things I wanted to check on." She said practically dragging into what was essentially a book store.

He looked around at the shelves upon shelves of texts simply marveling at the sight.

Giyuu looked around like a child lost in a candy store, he was distracted by the amount of books this store had.

"Oh, I'm sorry, that one won't arrive for another week." The clerk said to her.

"Ah, that's a shame." She said shaking her head.

"Come on.....Giyuu?"

Shinobu stopped herself as she noticed his amazement.

"Has something caught your eye?" She asked him as she grabbed his hand.

"Oh.... No, I was just looking."

He wasn't going to admit he had never been to such a store before.

He followed her around to wherever she wanted to go, first a book store, then a small flee market, then a medicine store, and lastly a building he didn't recognize.

"What's this one?" Giyuu asked as he looked at this not very well marked building.

"It's somewhere Shinazugawa told me about, it's a bar he comes to from time to time."
