The entrance gates of the butterfly estate rattled lightly as they shut behind him, Giyuu entered inside and walked towards her office, knocking to signal his entry.
He looked at the mountain of papers on Kanae's desk, he assumed she wasn't there before a voice could be heard on the other side.
"I'm over here." Kanae raised her hand over the stack of papers. Before she got up and walked around the mountain. It was a miracle that the desk didn't collapse under the weight of the papers placed on top of it.
"Apologies, I may have underestimated my workload." She said as she eyed the remaining paper work with little enthusiasm.
"I presume you are here for our training." Kanae guessed already knowing the answer.
"Yes....Although....are you sure you don't want me to come another time....you seem.... Busy...." He said as he gazed upon the mountain of paper work in front of him.
"What's all this for anyway?" Giyuu asked trying to wrap his head around why anyone would ever have this much paper in one place.
"Oh well, yknow, medicine orders, books, pay records, disposal orders, financial records-" Kanae stopped as she realized she was rambling.
"Oh, sorry." She said while scratching the back of her head.
The two stepped out of the office while they made small talk before exiting into the backyard area.
"This is where we will train, any questions?"
"Ummm, what exactly is this training for?"
"The master has deemed our current strength impressive, but there is room for improvement." Giyuu said clearly side stepping the question.
"Then.... How long will we be training for?" She asked only slightly annoyed by Giyuu's refusal to answer her.
"......What does your fighting style specialize in?" Giyuu asked completely ignoring the last two questions she asked.
Kanae's patience for once was actually running thin, probably because she was sort of in a rush to get through all the work she totally delayed for weeks. Scheduling and time management weren't exactly her thing. Usually her little sister was much better at those things but she refused to let her touch a single form or sheet. Something about it being "big sis's responsibility not yours." as she always told shinobu.
"Well, I'm really good at being fast and accurate." Kanae said not really thinking to deep into Giyuu's question.
"Then we will train you to be faster, sharper, harder to hit." Giyuu was already planning to do so but he wished to hear Kanae's input first.
"That's alright with me." She said not really paying attention to him.
"Perfect, then we will start now." Giyuu said as he vanished from sight at break neck speeds.
Kanae snapped back to the situation but Giyuu was already gone.
"Wait, what did you say?" She asked frantically looking left to right, she actually wasn't really listening to him and kind of tuned him out.
She looked around the yard before spotting him leaning against a wall.
As she tried to come closer to ask him he then once again disappeared and reappeared on the opposite side of the yard.
"I really don't get what's going on." Kanae said while she just stared at him.
"It's simple, you have to tag me and you win."
"Oh, I've done this before." Kanae thought of her trainings with shinobu, they did a sort of similar thing just inside a smaller area.
"Then get t-" Giyuu didn't get time to finish his sentence as Kanae raced to come tag him. Unfortunately her attempt didn't catch him in time.
