Chalice's pov
It's been a week ever since Cuphead got back to his old self.....well.....mostly.....the boys still fought with each other but they make up after. Even though Elder Kettle is gone, they still have each other.....
Then, some news came on the radio.
Radio: Breaking news for all Inkwell Isle citizens! There's a huge storm coming our way! Stay inside to avoid any mishaps! Stay home with your loved ones! Stay safe!
Chalice: Oh, god.....
Cuphead: What's going on, Chalice?
Chalice: There's a huge storm coming. We need to stay inside tonight. Where's Mugman?
Cuphead: He went to bed early because he's still tired.
Chalice: Good because I don't want him to hear this.
Cuphead: Yeah.....good thing because he has a fear of storms.
Chalice: Just let him rest, okay?
Cuphead: Alright......
Upstairs, Mugman sleeps peacefully, but then thunder boomed outside, waking him up.
Mugman: Ah! What was that?!
Mugman looks outside and thunder boomed again.
Mugman: AH!
Mugman hid under the covers, scared.
Back downstairs, Cuphead and Chalice looks outside.
Chalice: Dang, the storm is getting worse.
Then, the house went dark.
Cuphead: Oh, great. The power's out.
Then, they heard a fearful scream.
Chalice: Who screamed? Was that you, Cuphead?
Cuphead: No.....was that you?
Chalice: It's not me.
Cuphead: If it's not me or you, then.....who was it?
Then, they heard the fearful scream again.
Cuphead: I think that was Mugman.
Cuphead runs upstairs.
Chalice: I gonna go check the outlets to fix the power.
Cuphead: Alright.
Chalice goes in the basement.

Upstairs, Mugman still hides under his blanket. He felt someone sitting on his bed.
Cuphead: Mugs? Are you okay? We heard you screaming.
Mugman: The storm......it's scary.....
Cuphead: It's okay, Mugs.....the storm can't hurt you.....we're inside......
Cuphead pats his brother's back in comfort.
Cuphead: It's okay. Chalice is downstairs fixing the power.
Mugman: (sniffle)
The thunder boomed again and Mugman clings to his brother, not letting go.
Cuphead: (God, you're so jumpy.....) Don't be scared, Mugs.....the storm can't hurt you.

Downstairs, Chalice tries to fix the power.
Chalice: Hmm.....dang, which one is for the power in the house?
Then, she notices the power lines are fried.
Chalice: Dang.....
~
Upstairs, Mugman fell asleep after tiring himself out. Cuphead also tired himself out and fell asleep next to him. Chalice came upstairs to them the bad news but she saw them sleeping and smiles softly. She lays on her mattress.
Chalice: The storm will calm down in the morning......
She fell asleep peacefully.
