Nighttime. The bros and Chalice are asleep. Chalice hears Cuphead tossing and turning in his sleep. She opens her eyes and stood by his bedside.
Chalice: Is he having another nightmare? If he is, I need to wake him up.
Then suddenly, with his eyes still closed, Cuphead gets out of bed and starts walking out of the room in his sleep.
Chalice: Oh, this is not good.
Chalice shook Mugman awake.
Chalice: (whispers) Mugs. Wake up. We have a problem.
Mugman opens his eyes.
Mugman: (yawns) What time is it?
Mugman looks at the clock.
Mugman: It's two in the morning. What is so important?
Chalice: Cuphead is sleepwalking and won't wake up. I think he's having a nightmare again.
Mugman jumps out of bed.
Mugman: Oh, god....that is a problem....we need to wake him up before he gets hurt!
Chalice: Agreed.

Downstairs, Cuphead is still walking in his sleep and bumps into a wall.
Cuphead: (sleepily) Ow. Ow. Ow.
Cuphead keeps on bumping into the same wall without walking up. Mugman and Chalice runs downstairs to find Cuphead sleepwalking around the house.
Mugman: He keeps on bumping into walls.
Chalice: We need to wake him up somehow.
Mugman: And he needs to tell us what he is dreaming about. Let him be asleep for a bit longer and let's see what happens.
Cuphead: (sleepily) N-no.
Mugman: ??
Cuphead: (sleepily) M-mom.....D-Dad....n-no....please.....
Chalice: Oh, my gosh....he's dreaming about your parents.....
Mugman: He must be having a nightmare about our past.
Chalice: I'm sorry, but I think your past was pretty messed up.
Mugman: No, you're not wrong. It was messed up.....I need to wake him up now....he needs to tell us about what's going on.....
Mugman taps his brother's shoulder.
Mugman: Cups?
With his eyes closed still, Cuphead turns around, tears coming out of his eyes. Mugman grabs him by the shoulders and gently shakes him.
Mugman: Cups, wake up! You're having a nightmare.
Cuphead shot his teary eyes open.
Cuphead: PLEASE DON'T!.....Huh? Mugs? Chalice? What are y-
Mugman: Were you having a nightmare again?
Cuphead threw his arms around his brother, crying. Mugman hugs him back.

Later, Cuphead has a stress headache from crying.
Mugman: Feeling better now, Cups?
Cuphead: Yeah.....I guess I'm not completely better yet....I think I need therapy.
Mugman: We both do. I haven't been getting better, either.
Cuphead: Guess I'm not the only one.
Mugman: Yeah.
