At the house, the bros relaxed in the living room.
Cuphead: So, Mugs....what do you want to do today?
Mugman: I don't know. Since the holidays are coming up, we should get prepared for it.
Cuphead: Great idea, Mugs! Chalice is gone for a few days, so let's surprise her!
Mugman: Nice idea, bro! Let's go!

Meanwhile, in hell.....
Devil: Oh, Henchman. Is the four horsemen ready yet?
Henchman covers his eyes.
Henchman: I don't know. I'm too scared to look. Are ready yet, guys?
Horsemen: Not yet.
Henchman: I'll take that as a "no".
~
Meanwhile, on the surface.....
Mugman: Man, there was alot of Christmas decorations.
Cuphead: Yeah, and it's not even Thanksgiving yet.....
Mugman: Yeah. Our first Thanksgiving without.....
Cuphead looked at Mugman,who is tearing up a little.
Cuphead: Yeah....but he will be in our hearts forever....
Mugman: Yeah.....
Then, they heard a sound coming from somewhere.
Cuphead: Huh? What was that?
Mugman: I think it came from under the bridge.
Cuphead: We should check it out and see what's going on.
Mugman: I'm not so sure about that....what if the Devil is back?
Cuphead: Ah, banana oil. Quit your worrying. He hasn't realized we escaped from him.
Mugman: But that was almost two months ago! What if he realized by now?
Then, Mugman noticed that Cuphead already ran off.
Mugman: (sigh)
Mugman ran after his big brother.

Meanwhile, four familiar figures made people freeze in terror. Cuphead ran to where the figures are.
Cuphead: What going o- (gasp)
Cuphead froze in terror when he saw the Four Horsemen.
Mugman: What's going on her-
Then, he saw that Cuphead is frozen in terror.
Mugman: O-oh, my god.....
Mugman looks around to find fire around the Horsemen.
Mugman: Who are they? Have we seen them before?
Then, Mugman remembered something from the past.
FLASHBACK(S2 E8) (or E9, idk-)
Mugman laughs while holding the fake horsehead but doesn't realize the Horsemen is behind him.
Mugman: (laughs)
Then, Mugman looked confused.
Mugman: Huh? Is there something behind me?
He turns around with the fake horsehead. The horses neighed in fear and the Horsemen went flying into a huge bucket of apples. The horses ran away, leaving Mugman shocked. The bros looked at each other and Cuphead stopped freezing on terror.
Mugman: That....
Cuphead: Was....
Both: The greatest hay maze of all time!!
END OF FLASHBACK
Mugman: Holy crap.....we have seen them before....we thought they were fake....but they are real.....
Mugman shakes his brother to snap out of his terror but Cuphead still doesn't move.
Mugman: The Devil's back.....he realized we escaped from him.....
Then, Devil looked up at the Horsemen.
Devil: Great job, guys.
Then, Devil notices the bros in the distance.
Devil: Take the rest of the day off. I have something to deal with.
The Horsemen rode off back home while Devil walks overs to the bros.
Mugman: Devil!
Devil: Well, hello, Mugs. Good to see you again.
Mugman stands in front of Cuphead to protect him.
Mugman: What are you even doing here?!
Devil: Oh? I just come for my revenge. I saw that you and your little friends escaped from me.
Cuphead stopped freezing in terror and then notices the Devil. He hid behind his little brother.
Mugman: (sarcasticly) Oh, really? I haven't noticed.
Devil: Enough small talk. I came for your brother's soul. Unless you want to join him, you better step aside.
Mugman: Over my dead body! If you want my brother's soul, you have to go through me first! I won't let you take my brother's soul.
Cuphead: Yeah! You tell him, Mugs- hey....where did he go-
Mugman turns around and realized the Devil is behind Mugman, towering over Cuphead. The Devil grabs Cuphead's soul and Cuphead started to turn gray.
Mugman: NO! Let him go! Or else!
Devil: Or else what?
Cuphead's soul is completely out of his body and he collapsed on the ground with a crack on his face.
Mugman: NO! CUPS!
The Devil disappeared, taking Cuphead's soul with him. Mugman runs to his brother's side and falls on his knees. He holds him close.
Mugman: (whispers) I'm so sorry, Cups....
In the middle of the wrecked town, Mugman cries while holding his big brother close to him.
