Carinas POV
"You can have a glass of wine later but no more of this" Maya says and I roll my eyes again
"Yea whatever" I respond and go to find my phone, seeing that I had some messages from Andrea
I let him know I was alive and went back to the kitchen
They needed to get out soon anyway so I can get the lasagna out of the oven
It's not really fair for Maya to limit my alcohol intake, she's not my mother.
But if she is going to act like that.... I'll call her as such
"Mommy can you get out of the kitchen?" I ask her and she glares at me
"Mommy?" Andy ask
"She's being a brat" Maya says
"No I'm not mommy. I just need to check the food" I say innocently
This is going to be fun
She just continued to glare at me but her and Andy walked out of the kitchen
I checked the food and decided to let it cook for a few more minutes and I walked out to Maya and Andy who were now sitting on the couch
I smiled and walked over to sit in Mayas lap
"Carina enough" she whispers in my ear
"What?" I ask
"Why are you being like this now?" She ask
"You are limiting my alcohol... that's not fair" I say and relax into her body and she wraps her arms around me
Her doing that proved to me even if she was a little upset she was still there
"Because you're 18" she tells me and I shrug
"So..... mommy?" Andy ask and I smile against Maya
"She calls me that to be a brat" Maya says and I chuckle
"Yea.....right" Andy nods
"I'm serious" Maya replies and I just laugh
"You see what you did?" She ask me
"You started it" I respond and she sighs
"Just give me a beer please" Maya ask Andy and she nods
"You want one?" Andy ask me
"No... I actually don't like beer" I say and she nods and gets Maya and herself one
15 minutes later I got up from Mayas lap and went to take the lasagna out of the oven and I put it on the stove and went back and got into Mayas lap
"You okay?" She ask me and I nod
"I'm tired" I announce, on most days that I don't have school I usually don't even get out of bed... I did a lot today
"Foods done though" I say
"Thank god I'm starving" Andy says and we laugh and follow her to the kitchen and we all sit at the table to eat
Something I have grown accustomed to here at Mayas,
"Oh my god... Carina this is so good" Andy says and I smile
"Thank you" I say
"She's so right.. you have to make this a lot more now" Maya says and I laugh
"We'll have to see how nice you are to me" I say and she laughs
We finished eating and Maya and Andy were talking
"You can always come with me to my dads Maya" Andy says
