Chapter 73

Mayas POV

It has been a month since Carina was in the hospital, all of her bruises have faded and she has been cleared by her doctor, and she has started her job as a dance teacher. The man who assaulted her is in prison, he admitted to everything as well as assaulting 6 others.

Carina swears she is fine and that she is over it. She is back to her everyday activities and she has even hung out with Arizona, the only thing that is different in our relationship is the absence of our sex life,

Before the attack we had a really healthy sex life, we're both young and in love,

We haven't had sex since the day before her attack, this is the longest we have ever been without being intimate in that way. It's the longest I have been without sex in years. I don't ever want to pressure Carina or make her uncomfortable. It's not that Carina hasn't made advances or has mentioned it, it's me. I am worried I'll trigger her or something

She swears she is fine and that she is over it and I want to believe her. I do believe her, I just- it's selfish of me to be so worried but I will do anything to keep her safe, even if that includes putting my own needs to the side

It's Saturday so both Carina and I are off and are spending the day together, Nicole has been messaging me everyday to Check in on Carina and to let us know that Kai misses her.

I am so glad that we have this relationship with Kai and Nicole, even if I don't talk to my brother much, his wife is pretty cool,

"Maya," Carina says, bringing me out of my daydreams. She is currently sitting next to me on the couch with her feet in my lap

"Yea love?" I ask and run my hand up her leg and take a sip of my coffee

"Have you ever had a threesome?" Carina ask and I almost spit out my coffee, not the way I thought this was going to go

"Um... that's an abrupt change of topic" I chuckle and she smiles

"Answer the question" she says and I nod

"Yes... I have, a few times" I explain, it's been so long since I have even thought about that,

"Would you have one now?" She ask and i take another sip of my coffee

"Mmmm I don't know, I don't think I would like having to share you, I'm too jealous for that" I say honestly and she smiles and sits up on the couch so that she can sit into my lap

"Do you want to?" I ask her, I mean if she really did want to, I could try and be on board with the situation

"Mm I don't know, maybe. Not anytime soon though, I like it just being us" she explains and I put my coffee down on the table so I could kiss her without the risk of spilling it,

"What sparked this Interest?" I ask and move her hair out of her face and behind her ears

"Jewels was just joking about it that night.." she says and grows quiet

I kissed her cheeks and wrapped my arms around her wait and she lays against my chest

"I love you" I tell her and she lifts up from my chest just enough to press her lips against mine

"Maya?" She questions once more while laying against me

"Yea?" I reply,

"Why won't you have sex with me?" She ask and sits up so that she can look at me better

"I- I don't want to hurt you" I say honestly

"You're not going to hurt me, maya I am fine. I was a little shaken up and bruised that night but I'm completely fine now." She assured me and I let my hands rest on her hips, before letting my lips find hers, I know that we both have missed the intimacy that we often shared

"Okay" I whisper against her lips, her fingers now gripping my hair

I moved my hands from her hips to her thighs so that I could stand up with her still in my arms, she wrapped her legs around my waist as I carried her back to our room and setting her on the bed

"You promise you're okay?" I ask Carina, she doesn't answer me but instead grabs my shirt and pulls me down on top of her, I took that as a yes and immediately connected my lips back to hers,

"Told you I was fine" Carina laughs, her head now laying on my bare chest as her fingers danced around my stomach

"Yes you did" I smile and kiss the top of her head and she looks up at me

"So... about that threesome?" She says with a playful smile

"If you really want to one day we can" I say, and she smiles, Carina's young, I'm still young, she wants to experiment and if I can make it work I will

"Really?" She ask and I laugh and nod

"Yes... cause I know you'll always be mine" I say and she nods and kisses me softly

"Can we go see Kai soon? Or can we keep him? I miss him" she says and I nod

"Yes... you know he misses you too," I say and she nods

"Yea, Nicole texted me yesterday and sent me pictures of Kai and the baby " she says

"We can go tomorrow if they're not busy" I suggest,

"Maya! Let's go already" Carina called from the kitchen as I was walking down the hallway

"Really? It took me two minutes to use the bathroom" I say and she just smiles at me,

"You look pretty today" I say, her hair was half up- half down, she had a pink top on with black jeans,

"Mmhm, I forgive you for taking forever" she says and I laugh and grab my jacket by the door

"Go Get in the car" I say and she smiles and walks out the door,

I quickly put my shoes on and grabbed my keys before meeting Carina in the car,

As soon as we pulled up to Nicole's house she was already outside holding the baby while Kai stood next to her, once our car stopped he immediately ran to Carinas side of the car

She got out and picked him up, holding him
Close to her

"I missed you piccolino" she smiles

"I missed you this much" he says and opens his arms as far as they go

"Auntie Maya!" Kai smiles when he sees me and reaches for me

"Hi buddy,"  I say and take him from Carina

"Can I go with you today?" He ask us

"We have work in the morning little guy, but don't worry. We're gonna plan a sleepover soon." I say and he smiles and reaches back to Carina

"Mommy said you were sick.... You feel better now?" Kai ask Carina and she looks at me briefly

"I'm better now, everything is okay" she assures him and he smiles

The five of us went back inside and Carina and I sat on the floor with Kai in the living room

"I gots to pee!" Kai says out of nowhere and stands up and runs to the bathroom

"So how are you really?" Nicole ask Carina,

"I'm okay, really. I'm past it," Carina assures her and I take her hand in mine
