Chapter 21

Carinas POV

I didn't want to stay at Mayas tonight, I felt so bad and awkward

I never should have brought up the topic again because ever since talking about her brother earlier she has been acting off

I figured she just needs some time alone and she will call tomorrow,

It sucks that I won't be able to spend the entire weekend with her but it's okay, I'll figure something out

I took my phone out as soon as I pulled up at my house and texted my best friend to see if she was working tonight

She said she was so I ran inside to grab a change of clothes and headed to the club

I grabbed my bag and headed inside and to the back where Jewels was sitting and doing her makeup

Jewels isn't her real name. It's just a stage name, we all have them

"Ahh! What are you doing here!? I thought you were off tonight" she ask me and pauses her makeup to get up and hug me

"I was but I'm bored and I missed you" I say and she smiles and hugs me again

"Are you working or just here to watch?" She ask

"I'll do a few, " I say and she nods

"Come back to mine tonight? We can drink and just have a night in" Jewels suggest and I nod

"Definitely!" I say happily

Since I spend all my free time with Maya I haven't seen much of jewels but we text all the time

She's 21, so a few years older but we get along

I quickly got undressed in a room and put on a red fishnet bra and panties and black lace up heels

"Girl I know I tell you this every time but damn look at you!" Jewels smiles and I blush and chuckle

"Me? Have you seen yourself?" I ask her,

Jewels is a very pretty girl, she had fuller breast than I did so her tops always looked better, not that we wore them long anyway most of the time but still

Her figure was also a little curvier than mine, Jewels is beautiful and I definitely had a little crush when I first started working here

"I know, and I see you checking me out" she smirks and I roll my eyes

"In your dreams" I smile and she laughs

"Oh there's a little more happening in my dreams" she winks at me and I roll my eyes

"Jewels! Let's go" we hear another girl yell and Jewels smiles at me and leaves

I pull my phone out to see if Maya had texted at all which she didn't,

I can't think about her right now. I just need to get in to my work mindset

Maya would be pissed if she knew what I was doing,

I know she hates what I do for work but she won't tell me that. Which is why I started working on days I don't go to her house which is during the week.

She never knows, she just thinks I don't go in at all

As the night went on I went on stage a few times and walked around while Jewels was doing her thing,

Just as I was about to change back into my clothes Jewels comes up to me

"Want to do a private with me?" She ask

"You know I don't do those" I say and continue to get my clothes out, they are creepy and most of the time married men. Like come on people

"I know you haven't... but it will be with me, and I can make sure they don't touch you" she explains to me

"What would I have to do?" I ask, I know jewels won't let anything happen if I decided to do it with her

"Just basically a lap dance, and us kissing, it's good money" she says and I sigh

"I can't" I say and she nods but frowns

"Why not?" She ask,

I mean if it wasn't for Maya I would, but I don't know how she would feel if I was kissing another girl,

But then again it's work, just like an actress or something, doesn't mean a thing to me

"Maybe next time?" I ask Jewels and she smiles softly and nods

"Okay... this is my last thing and we can head to mine if you still want to come over" she says and I smile And nod

After she left I got dressed and checked to see if Maya had texted once again and of course she didn't

Jewels came back not long after and got dressed and one of the bouncers walked us to our cars

"You following me?" She ask and I nod

Jewels doesn't live far from the club so we weren't driving for long

When we got to her house I could definitely feel I needed a shower, I've gotten so used to it at Mayas and with working i just felt dirty

"You mind if I shower quick?" I ask Jewels

"Not at all, I need to shower too, all this stupid glitter" she says and I laugh

Her outfits always contain glitter and no matter what it ends up all over her

We both quickly showered, and I changed into the clothes I had originally brought to Mayas and we sat in her bed with alcohol around us

"Why havent you been in on the weekends lately?" She ask me after we both take a shot

"I got a girlfriend... she hates what I do and I spend the weekends with her" I explain

"Do I know her? What's her name? Oh my god" Jewels smiles and pours us another drink

"No you don't know her, she lives about 45 minutes from here. And her name is Maya" I tell her

We continued to talk about Maya and Jewels boyfriend for a while until the both of us passed out

The next morning I could barely open my eyes, they hurt too much

I don't think I have drank that much since before I met Maya, even despite what she believes, I don't drink as much as I used to

Jewels was still passed out and I seen that it was already noon and I had some miss calls from Andrea and my mama

"Shit" I mumble and stand up and almost fall over from the pain again

I found my keys and left Jewels house

I regret everything last night, my head is fucking killing me and I'm pretty sure I'm about to puke.. please just not in my car

I don't remember the last time I drank that much,

Why must I live so far away?
