It was a rainy day, setting the mood of the heartbroken families and friends. The funeral was 3 hours in already and Chae still stayed in her room.

Changbin sat in front of the door, trying to convince Chae to go. He himself preferred to stay as Chae does but he knew how sad Jisung would have been if his best friend wouldn't attend his own funeral.

"Chae please... go for Jisung" he pleaded as he repeatedly knocked on the door. Days passed and Chae didn't leave her room except for the toilette. The food Changbin made for her was never touched by that timespan.

He really wanted his sister to get better without any kind of boundaries but slowly loses hope. Many times he thought about storming the room, dragging her out of it, and forcing her to eat.

But at the same time, he was scared of how she will react and her condition after locking herself away for days. He himself was tired of everything, Jisung was also his friend and it hit him hard to see the demolished body in the living room.

He still woke up with nightmares of the incident, the dead eyes of his friend, and the blood-smeared room. The doorbell rang through the house, showing how empty it is with just two people living in it.

Changbin sighed, he hoped to not talk with anyone today. "I'm going to the door" he informed his sister before leaving his spot to open the door.

The one who came was Minho also wearing a black suit for the funeral. He had glossy red eyes, dark eye bags, and was pale, the exact same condition Changbin was in.

He seemed like he was at the funeral already because of his messy hair and exhaustion. "Why is none of you at the funeral? he asked and looked over Changbin, in hopes to find his twin.

Minho understood the situation the two were in, no one has it as hard as they have now. It was just frustrating for Minho to not see one of the twins there.

He could only stay there for 20 minutes before dashing out to look after the two. The boys didn't mind Minho's sudden disappearance as they were worried about the twins too.

As Minho arrived at the door he turned nervous. He couldn't imagine what the two would look like or their place, he just hoped that they were still alive.

Changbin sighed at the question and let him in. "She doesn't leave her room since the police visit" he confessed.

He knew about the relationship between the two growing, so maybe he could finally get her out of the room. "Should I talk to her?" Minho asked turning his face to Changbin, with a pleading look he just nodded and pointed to the room.

Minho wasn't thinking how but he just wanted to see Chae and make her feel better. He went up to the door, staring at the wood not daring to knock.

How should he help? How can he handle the situation? how scared he was to do something that could worsen the situation.

But he went for it, something should happen. "Chae" he called out and knocked a few times. He got no answer, no sign of life or anything remotely close.

Minho knocked again "Can I go inside?" he asked in a soft voice. As there was still no answer he turned to Changbin who shrugged his shoulders in answer, Minho sighed "Is she even alive?" he asked in a more annoyed tone.

Minho doesn't want to seem rude but the situation brought him to think that he talked to no one. "She was out for the toilette 4 hours ago" the twin answered.

Minho nodded in understanding and turned back to the door. He grabbed after the handle and rested his hand there, procrastinating.

That should be the best solution. "I'm going in" Minho warned and took a step into the room. It was the opposite of what Minho had imagined the room to be.

Instead of the messy and dark room, the windows were open and a clean room was visible. Chae was sitting on her bed, looking down at a photobook.

She was completely black-clothed, ready for the funeral. Minho first took a deep breath to see Chae alive. He knew Chae would never do something to hurt herself but it's never wrong to be sure.

Hesitantly he walked over to Chae, careful to not scare her. She had a blue photobook in front of her where pictures of Jisung and her were visible.

Minho decided to stay standing and turned shortly back. Changbin was leaning on the doorframe, looking sad at Chae.

Some time passed since their uncle was murdered and it seemed like the twins were slowly recovering from the loss. After this attack, it almost seemed like all the progress was destroyed.

Changbin didn't expect the second time to make her condition worsen. Everyone has a breaking point and Chae reached hers.

Minho turned his gaze back to Chae whose eyes were on him. Surprised by that Minho flinched breaking eye contact. Chae looked exhausted as she completely lost her strength to even cry.

The last few days were torture for her as she remembered every good moment with Jisung but at the same time saw the lifeless body in front of her. She gave up the thought of 'everything happens for a reason as she started to question her own sanity.

Her thoughts drove her wild, to the point where she thought she was the murderer holding the knife, just not remembering the incident. What made her feel worse was to see Minho in front of her, tired, messy, nervous, and a wreck.

Jisung was Minho's childhood friend, they grew up together. He lost someone who was there his whole life and now stands in front of her trying to get her to the funeral. His hair was damp as he quickly went through the rain.

Heck! He even was at the funeral and left his childhood best friend in the casket only to get her.

Chae felt pathetic sitting in front of him, sulking over a dead friend. "Am I really that pathetic?" she asked breaking the long-lasting silence.

The question caught Minho off guard, he expected to get kicked out of the room. Minho sat on the bed taking Chae's shoulder softly "Believe me, Chae... you're everything... but not pathetic" he reassured and smiled softly.

Chae doesn't show any kind of emotion, just looking down at the book. She couldn't long admire the smile of the squirrel-like boy trying to get the cream off his cheek as Minho closed the book.

Confused she looked up to Minho whose gaze was still fixated on the book. "I know it's too early, much earlier than wished by everyone... but it's time to let him go" he looked up to Chae finding eye contact.

The last few days Chae was only able to cry, the whole time. She almost believed that she will never be able to cry again as her eyes stopped the day before to give any substances off.

But as she looked at Minho. As she saw the pain Minho held in his eyes. It was hurtful to say it but it was reality. He needed to let go of his childhood friend, his best friend, his soulmate.

He noticed his vision getting blurry from the tears building up. But he wasn't alone. Also, Chae felt her eyes water again and she sobbed once.

Vastly she wiped away the tears before nodding to Minho. "I will let him go, if you let him go... let us together let him rest in peace" she smiled through the pain. Minho smiled too, nodding to her "Let's do that" he said before standing up and giving Chae his hand.

She gladly took it and together with Changbin they made their way to let Jisung leave the world to see his friends one last time.
