Chan cleared his throat, giving himself the few seconds to choose his words. "Well... you're here because there was a few incidents in the last few weeks going on in the city, which indicate to have something to do with a murderer".
Minho was intrigued by the information he got "So you need me... to solve a murder?" he asked with amusement in his face but cold tone, not really pleased by the fact he's getting used. Chan nodded with a sigh "The case is a bit complex so the department thought it would be smart to have someone who... has more knowledge" he tried to clarify, failing miserably .
"Using the weapon of the enemy against them, you mean?" Minho asked with a furrowed brow, piercing eyes on the other. Chan held his eye contact, aware that it was indeed, the intention of his boss.
The room fell into a thick silence as the both didn't really tried to communicate any further. Minho was outraged on the inside, being used as a solution to solve a case.
He would have done rather anything else in his time in prison than try and show the police how much of a danger he actually could be. Any kind of dangerous thoughts for the solving of the case could give him more problems than he already has.
Chan wasn't really sure of his next steps, any wrong move could make the other explode. He was sure the other was offended of the accusation that he was a 'weapon' for the police to use.
At the same time he didn't want any kind of issues with the other as he still somehow is going to live with him under the same roof. The less conflicts, the less problems.
Minho was playing with his handcuffs, giving these as the only sound in the room. It wasn't surprising for the both that they didn't wanted to be in the room together.
The walkie talkie on the table suddenly turned on, scaring the both male in the room. "Don't sit around and show him the case papers" his chef hissed through the walkie talkie, watching on the other side the two male sitting silently in the room.
Minho looked from the device to Chan who sighed before pulling out the folder under his hands. Minho was ready to see the worst, bloodied, dismembered, splattered bodies spread all over rooms and streets.
He didn't saw blood since his last kill and was ready to try and see if the killer after him is much crueler than him. A soft smile formed on his face in thoughts how actually no one could beat his works.
Chan slid the papers to the other, only to see his smile suddenly drop at the sight of the papers. A second later his brows furrowed and confusion was written all over his face as he looked up to the detective.
"You wanna tell me these were murdered?" he asked, pointing with his finger on the pictures. Slumped bodies on the floor, partly bathing in their own vomit and blue on their face.
Chan glanced up to him and crossed his arms "They were indeed, murdered" he answered and watched the other scrunch up his brows in dissatisfaction. Minho expected much more, more cruelness , more blood, more complexity in the case.
"Sure that's not just food poisoning?" Minho questioned and leaned back in his chair, nodding his head to the side with an innocent look in his face. Chan glared shortly at him, not letting himself getting laughed down onto.
"That were the first indications but as we went more into the matter, the autopsy gave us that all these five people were murdered with intended poison" Chan explained and pointed down to each picture displayed for Minho. He furrowed a brow interested, looking down at the slumped bodies.
He looked back up to the other with an amused look "Poisoned? Usually used to kill people in our surrounding, are these kind of familiar with each other?" he asked, going through his list of questions in his head.
