 Amelie sat in the twisted branches of the tree, replaying what had happened earlier. She wondered if leaving was a mistake. Even if it was, she was forbidden from The Cavern. She couldn't go back. Never.

Amelie climbed down the tree, her feet landing on the squishy tongues. She headed forward, the eerie silence making each of her steps sound like thunder. She finally arrived at the spot she had searched for. It was a small clearing, with prickly red grass rather than tongues. Though everything in this mysterious place was dark, things seemed to have the slightest hint of light.

A noise came from behind.

Amelie spun around to see a can laying in the grass.

Coca Cola.

Somethings up, Amelie thought. She had seen many strange objects fall out of the sky before. The people of Earth used The Twilight Zone not only as a prison, but as a dump. Cans like this one she recognized, but some things were odd, such as small, thin, TV looking devices often fell, screens cracked.

But there was something different about this can. A remarkable feature, unlike all the other trash dumped here.

Most cans were crushed and compacted.

But this one was full.
