The Scratch assisted Noah in lifting Lily's body, placing it in a dumpster. And as if nothing had happened, The Scratch turned away, leaving Noah with nothing but the murderer who killed Lily.
Himself.
Noah sat by the dumpster, hidden by piles of rubbish. He saw a figure turn the corner, look inside the dumpster.
Amelie.
He knew the reporters weren't right, that she wasn't dead. Noah watched as Amelie pulled the blade from the dumpster, covered in blood. Her face turned even paler than usual as she saw the body laying in the dumpster. Noah came to Amelie.
"I was just looking for her," Noah lied. He felt bad, but he couldn't tell Amelie who really committed the crime. As the siblings heard footsteps entering the alleyway, Noah grabbed the knife. He couldn't let Amelie take the blame, they would send her to The Twilight Zone. But just as the figures appeared, Amelie snatched the knife, pushing Noah out of sight.
Amelie was taken away. And in the end, no matter how many times he told himself it was his fathers fault, he couldn't help to think who's fault it was that Lily was dead.
That Amelie was framed.
That he was alone.
The only person to blame was himself.
