"We should have found Amelie first," Ellie sighed.

"She would know what to do," Noah agreed. The two stumbled closer to each other. Their hands just barely started to touch...

"Hey!" Amelie startled the two.

"Amelie?" Noah ran over to his sister.

"What's happening? Are you two seriously just standing here?" Tears littered her cheeks. "You haven't even bothered to look at their faces, have you, Noah?" She sobbed. "Not all of them are new, Noah... Most of them are, but... we thought that throwing people into the tongues was a good thing, didn't we? He Finds them, puts them here. I don't know how he got-" She raised her hand, shaking, gesturing over to the girl at Noah and Ellie's feet. Noah tentatively turned the body over. At the sight of her face, he collapsed, crying, no, shrieking, horrible inhuman noises that made Ellie want to plug her ears like Amelie was, shutting out the world, but she wanted to go to him, to help him, although she couldn't reach him no matter how hard she tried...

She yelled to Amelie over the noises, with every ounce of doubt as to if she could hear her.

"Who IS it?"

Amelie choked, pushing the words out.

"Lily-"

Ellie's face turned white, almost as pale as Noah's. And, all of a sudden, the shrieking stopped, leaving Noah holding the body, his tears falling steadily onto Lily.

Amelie ran to him then, and pried his fingers off of their older sister. Noah began to speak, his words coming out bent, brief interludes of sobs in between each one.

"I-hic-Killed her.."

Amelie's face whitened a few considerable shades.

"Noah, Noah, Noah, you don't know what you're saying... We found the knife, remember? We found her... You didn't do it..."

"I-Killed-Her..."

"Noah, You didn't do it, you're fine, we FOUND HER!"

Ellie watched from a small distance, tears now streaming down her face. She Loved that boy, and he was hurting, and all she wanted to do was hug him, hold his hand again, but she didn't know if that "We should have found Amelie first," Ellie sighed.

Ellie watched from a small distance, tears now streaming down her face. She Loved that boy, and he was hurting, and all she wanted to do was hug him, hold his hand again, but she didn't know if that would make things worse. She really wanted Oliver. She'd hug onto him, tell him it would be okay, and comfort herself in the process, like always.

"Noah, listen!" Amelie's screams were still echoing around the cave.

All of a sudden, Noah stopped crying. Looked straight at his alive sister.

"You listen, You listen for once, Amelie. I-Killed-Her. Everything's my fault." He turned to Ellie, his eyes shot and puffy from crying. "You know now, I'm just as bad as the Scratch. A Murderer. You don't love me. I don't-I don't love you." He dropped the body, finally, and sprinted off. He was fast, but Ellie wondered how long he could keep up the pace.

She wondered, but not for long. Her own body was soon racked with sobs, and she didn't sleep at all that night.
