Always and Forever

Chapter 12

*Ella's POV*

Drive back to my apartment was silent. Both me and Lilly were in deep thoughts. I couldn’t even cry anymore. I was just sitting silently and looking out of the window. Whenever I looked at Lilly I could tell that she was angry at him. That was a logical reaction. I was constantly replaying how that girl hugged Jake and how he was looking at me. It hurt so much.

Finally we arrived at my apartment. Me and Lilly both got out of the car and she hugged me. She hugged me tight and started crying.

-         I’m sorry Ella, I’m sorry for what my stupid brother did. I never could’ve imagined he would do something like that.

-         Shhh Lilly. Don’t cry please. It’s not your fault. Whatever he did, has nothing to do with you.

-         How are you so calm? How did you not kill him?!

-         The fact that he cheated on me showed me that he never even cared about me. Why should I waste my emotions on someone who doesn’t care about me and my emotions?!

-         You’re right Ella.

We stood there hugging each other for a few minutes. Then we went to the apartment. All I needed right now was to take a shower and forget about everything that happened. So I excused myself and went to the bathroom. I wanted this shower to last as long as possible because it calmed me down. I decided not to think about Jake and that girl anymore.

Few minutes later I came downstairs. I saw Lilly, Jessy and Richy sitting on the couch and talking. As soon as they saw me, Jessy and Richy hugged me tight.

-         Don’t worry sis. I’m gonna find him and give him a lesson.

Richy said with anger in his voice. Before I could say anything someone knocked on the door. I pulled away from Richy and Jessy and went to open the door. As soon as the door was open two giant arms hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back. I was so small compared to Dan.

-         I promise you Ella. he will pay for everything he did.

I pulled away from the hug and invited Dan in. Once he was sitting on the couch with others I stood in front of everyone and said what I was thinking about.

-         Guys, I appreciate you being worried for me. but whatever he did was his decision. For me he’s dead. He died the moment when he left me. I don’t want to think about him and I won’t do it. I want to ask you guys something. Don’t say or do anything to him. Because talking to him, beating him up, killing him will do nothing. Whatever he did can’t be changed. He doesn’t exist for me anymore. so you forget about him too.

Dan and Richy didn’t like the things I said but at the end everyone promised me to do as I asked and I was so thankful for that.

We stayed at my apartment and watched marvel movies. We made popcorn, and Richy went to the market and got us ice creams. It was something I needed. Chilling with friends, watching movies, laughing, joking, we even played Doodle friends.

Once we got bored with just being at home we decided to go to the park and have a picnic. Me, Jessy and Lilly made us some burgers and sandwiches. Got some drinks and went to the park. It was really funny. I couldn’t stop laughing all day. Richy’s and Dan’s jokes never got old.

We stayed there taking pictures, watching funny videos on YouTube, Dan even danced. All of us were watching him with wide eyes. And let me tell you, his dance moves were pretty good.

In the evening we decided to go to the Aurora. I didn't like that idea but everyone wanted to go so I followed them. As soon as we entered the bar Phil came to us to get our orders. I didn’t want to get drunk so I ordered juice. Phil left our table. He was looking at me with sad eyes for the whole time.
