*Ella’s POV*

Yesterday was the best day for me. I met Jake, I met my friends, we had fun together. I felt really calm and safe with them, something I haven’t felt in weeks.

This morning me and Jake decided to go to my apartment. After the wedding we were planning to live in my apartment because Jake’s house wasn’t really comfortable for 2 people.

Jake told me that he’d been in my apartment and that it was really dusty. He also said that my flowers were wilted. I was really sad that happened but it’s alright, I can get new flowers and make sure they will bloom for eternity. Well… not actually but you know what I mean.

Jake stopped in the middle of the road. And told me to wait for him in the car. I was really confused but I thought he needed to do something so I patiently waited for him.

Few minutes later Jake came back with his hands behind his back. What was he hiding from me? I tried to look but he kept smiling at me and shielding whatever was behind him from me.

After minutes of begging him to show me what he was hiding he finally showed it to me. It was a bunch of Lillies gathered in a beautiful bouquet, with many buds just starting their lives, just like Jake and me. They were perfectly white and their scent hung in the air, enveloping me like a crisp, sweet and amazing morning.

-         Jake…

-         Do you like it?

-         I love them. Thank you very much Jake.

-         Well… one day when I was going to your grave I came across this flower shop. I realized that I never gave you flowers, so I bought exactly this bouquet and brought it to the grave. But since you’re here now, I will buy these flowers for you every single day.

-         Jake…

I hugged him tightly with tears running down my face. He went through a lot when I wasn’t here. I will never leave his side from now on.

When I calmed down, Jake started the car and soon we arrived at my apartment. I actually was scared to see how much my apartment changed but most importantly Jake was with me and we would fix everything in my apartment together.

Jake opened the apartment door and the sight in front of me made me freeze in place. Curtains were closed, my whole furniture was covered in white sheets, my favourite flowers wilted and cobwebs covering every corner of my house. Well… this had to change ASAP!

I turned on the light in the house and opened the curtains. Then I looked for a vase and put lillies in them.

Meanwhile Jake uncovered the furniture and started coughing because of the dust. I giggled and turned the music on. I had a habit, I couldn’t clean my house without music. Jake looked at me for a few seconds then came to me, held my hands and started dancing with me.

-         What are you doing?

I laughed.

-         What do you think? Dancing with my wife.

-         Why so suddenly?

-         Maybe because I’ve been dreaming of dancing with you for weeks.

I didn’t say anything else. I just danced with him. Every second spent with him was the best second of my life.

We continued dancing, I don’t know when music stopped and I didn’t even care. We were just dancing while being in each other's arms, relaxing in each other’s presence.

I looked at him in his eyes and saw those big blue eyes which I fell in love with.

-         I’m just realizing how much I actually missed you, Bluey.
