I just finished cleaning my house and sat down on the couch. Jake left early in the morning. He said he had some things to do. Tyson was supposed to come at 7 p.m to pick me up. I had 3 hours before he arrived, so I decided I could watch a movie. As I started looking for something to watch, I heard a knock. I went towards the entrance and opened the door. There stood sad Lilly and excited Richy. He looked at me with shocked eyes and said
- Why aren’t you ready?!
- Ready for what?
- Your date! Tyson will be here soon!
- Richy, I have 3 hours to get ready.
- That’s not enough time!
He took my arm and led me to my bedroom. Lilly followed us behind.
- Okay. Show us what outfit you want to wear.
It literally took an hour and a half to choose an outfit. Richy disliked every single cloth I showed him. He kept saying that I needed to look good tonight. Why did he want me to meet Tyson this much?
After we finally chose my outfit, which was a calf-length khaki dress with short sleeves covering the shoulders, with a delicate neckline, Richy left my room and Lilly stayed with me to help me get ready.

She sadly nodded her head. I smiled and started getting ready.

I was finally ready. It took more time than I expected. Lilly helped me do my makeup, the whole time she was sad and I kept telling her that everything would be alright. I know it was hard to believe, but it was the truth.
Once I was ready I went downstairs and saw Richy sitting on the couch. He jumped up as soon as he saw me.
- Oh my god, Ella. You look breathtaking! Tyson’s jaw will drop to the floor when he sees you.
Then it hit me that I am getting ready to meet Tyson. It felt so wrong that I was getting ready for a date with someone other than Jake. I felt like I was cheating on him, but this was important for our plan.
I looked over at Lilly and her face told me that she was thinking the same thing as me. I sighed and smiled at Richy. We sat down on the couch and decided to watch something.
