What was a Tragedy turned into a Miracle

(Megatrons POV)

I sat in the back of Ratchets alt mode as we drove to the base hospital. Jemelle was unconscious, and was bleeding from her womanhood. We arrived, Knockout, Ratchet, and June doing an ultrasound before I saw all color drain from each of their faces. They rushed her into surgery, telling me to wait in the hall. My brother, Starscream, Breakdown, and Miko all arrived and waited in the hall with me. Minutes feeling like hours, hours feeling like years.

Finally, Ratchet came out with a sad look. "She's awake, but ..." he trailed off as he looked down. "What is it, Ratchet?" I asked, I am worried about my mate and sparklings. "Your son didn't make it, Megatron ... I'm so sorry." the medic whispered, shocking me before I rushed into the room, finding my wife laying on the medical bed. Bandages covered her waist as she gently cradled our daughter, feeding her. However, there was a numb look on her face as she stared over at an incubator ... our son laying inside. Knockout and June were also by Jemelle's side as I approached, making them get up and back away. Jem looked at me before tears welled up in her eyes and she looked away. Gently, I grabbed her face and cradled it as I sat on the medical bed with her. "It was Tammy." she whispered as she leaned into my servo. Anger instantly ran through me, but I held it down. My wife needs me right now.

Slowly, I looked at Aurora and smiled, she had my eyes but Jemelle's looks. "She's beautiful." I whispered, removing my servo from her face to also cradle my daughters head. Aurora looked at me and cooed softly, making me smile. Then, hesitantly, Jemelle gently handed Aurora over to me. I cradled my daughter and smiled before I heard Ratchet approach the incubator, making me look up. "Raiden protected his sister from the blow ... he's a little hero." he whispered as he touched the glass. "... Can I hold him?" I heard Jemelle ask, making the doctor hesitate, but then slowly take our son out of the incubator and hand him over to Jem. Jem cradled Raiden as tears fell from her eyes. "He's so cold." she whispered as she took her blanket and wrapped our son in it partially. Raiden looked like my holoform, so I could only assume he had Jemelle's eyes. She then suddenly placed her forehead to Raidens' and closed her eyes. "Please Sweetheart ... Come back to us." she begged before we all went silent

Minutes passed by when I finally saw some movement from Raiden, shocking all of us. Suddenly, his blue skin turned pale as he began to cry, shocking all of us. The medics came and looked over Raiden, and that's when we all saw the dent that was originally on the back of his skull was gone. "He's alive!" Jem exclaimed as happy tears began to fall and after the medics were done, she was able to feed him, allowing me to see Raiden's eyes, and I was correct, they were green.

A huge weight came off Jem's shoulders and as she cradled Raiden close to her chest as he was fed, light seemingly filled the room, a bright smile on my wifes face. Once Raiden was finished being fed, Jemelle had me hand Aurora back to her as the others came in. "Welcome to the family, little ones." she told our twins as they looked at each other and cooed. It was then that I knew, everything was going to alright.
