[Third Person]
It hadn't been easy—finding Yun Cha, that is.
With no idea who she was, how she was connected to Jae, and with no name, it was nearly impossible to find her. The only way they managed to track her down was through facial recognition and painstakingly trying to find a picture of her anywhere they could even think of. It was like she was living like a ghost.
And with their week of endless and arduous struggle, they were able to find her—right under their noses.
Who would've thought that she was the new company figurehead for the previous Haneul family's company—not the pair of lovers.
So now, the two stood on the steps of the building, trying to get in. Had anyone else seen the number of security details outside, they would think that a prime minister or a president was inside the building doing business.
Qi and Xunan were currently trying to speak in English to the men guarding the door, but it seemed like their comprehension was slightly lacking.
"We're looking for Yun Cha," Qi tried again, starting to get frustrated with how hard it was to try and communicate between two groups that didn't speak each other's language.
The expression on their faces immediately dropped to stone. They didn't even blink at each other and with three steps forward, both men were detained by the security personnel and were surrounded by several other men and women in black suits.
Although they were being taken into the building where they wanted to be, this could not have possibly been the right way to enter the building.
Qi and Xunan knew this fact well, and only well into their detainment did they start trying to struggle from the mens' grasp. They had already been dragged down the stairs and into god knows where.
"Hey! We're only trying to meet with Yun Cha! We aren't trying to hurt her! We're just looking for Jae." Xunan shouted at the security with a thread of patience ready to snap at any time. The anger bottled up in his abdomen fueled the heat of his body as they shoved the two into a holding room lacking any sort of window.
The men who had already turned their backs to Qi and Xunan were starting back to where they had originally been stationed when one suddenly stopped. Pressing his finger into his ear piece, one of the security detail spoke lowly in a language neither Qi nor Xunan could understand—perhaps a mistake on their part.
As Qi and Xunan watched from the barred view out the metal door of their room separating them from the outside, their eyes followed the man who turned to face the metal door once more.
In a blur of Korean, the metal door was unlocked and with jaws dropped, Qi and Xunan stepped out of the bare room. The hall they stepped out into wasn't much better than the room, but it was better than being detained.
The same men who dragged them into the cell, pushed them up back onto the ground level and motioned them towards the elevator of the lobby. It didn't take long for Qi and Xunan to assume that they were headed to whoever was in charge—not like the security's press to the top most floor gave anything away. Down the long hall, Qi and Xunan soon came to face the dark door of an office on a floor much too quiet to house any sort of ordinary worker.
"Come in," came the low tone of Yun Cha through the door. When they entered the room and closed the door behind them, she commanded quietly, "Sit."
Qi and Xunan now sat in separate black seats facing the large desk in acting as a barrier between the two parties.
"You mentioned Jae." Her comment needed no question to be asked. Qi and Xunan knew when others were in authority and at the moment, Yun Cha held all the power in this conversation.
