Dylan looks so worried, it hurts.

"Can you not, Dyl?"

He looks at me with shock. "What am I doing?"

"You look so worried, it's worrying me!"

He giggles. "I'm sorry, Alice. I can't help it. I feel so helpless"

"Yea so do I, Cheshire isn't helping me with this either. Riddles friggin EVERYWHERE."

Mati steps in, "riddles? Like what? What does he say?"

Ermahgerd I almost forgot that Matilda is the best riddle solver in the entire universe.

Dylan must've read my thoughts because he seemed to have hope written all over his features while he looked back at me expectantly.

"W-well, he says I used to go there all the time when I was younger and I know what's happening to me and how to reverse it but apparently my memories are hidden in my drawings and my mind. Yet I have no time to search anything bc I'm ALWAYS being pulled back into that World and it's like minutes before I'm back."

They both look up at me worried.

"Minutes?" they say in unison.

"Yea.."

"Alice it's been like 2 hours." Dylan says putting his hand on mine.

I sigh, "let it just kill me then."

"Don't say that!" (Dylan)

"You're a fighter! You're so strong, you can't let this stump you!" (Matilda)

"Yea, well the fighter is tired and is putting her gloves down,--

I lie down.

--hit me."

They both get up and lie on either side of me.

I'm going to miss them, but I give up. That place is unbearable.

The riddles, the constant talk of being mad.

Mad.. mad.

My tongue plays around with that word.

Maybe I found the key to everything after all.
