I wake up to find 2 pairs of eyes staring at me.
I've been moved from the floor to my bed. Dylan probably carried me.
Matilda is next to me asleep and Dylan is in my chair, which he moved by my bed, asleep.
I get up and realize its been 4 hours.
What the hell, Wonderland?
I look down and I'm still in the dress. I get up to change and suddenly Dylan grabs my arm and pulls me into him.
He grabs my head and examines my face. His eyes land on mine. He looks worried.
"Alice.."
Matilda's POV
Alice stood up and she really seemed anxious to tell us something. But, her skin seemed to pale in the 2 seconds it took her to hop up from the bed.
She began to wobble and before I could get the question out, Dylan is up from his seat and caught her.
Her eyes were blank and expressionless. I close her eyelids.
"Dylan! Put her on the bed."
He does what he's told. He looks really worried.
As I watch him, I think about what he told me on our way here..
Dylan's POV
Her face begins to blanch.
She's sinking to the floor.
Oh no..
I leap up to grab her and obey what Mati tells me.
I'm troubled by this. She's never fainted before. Maybe it's the drugs they give her.
I'm enraged.
It seems to grow as I spot the cicatrix on her arm.
