Sneaking me out. That's what's happening right now. I'm being snuck out of Rutledge. I don't exactly know where I'm going, Matilda was in a rush trying to get my things together and me into unrecognizable clothes.

She lowered everything thru my window where Dylan caught it and put it in his car.

I look around at this room. It's always been barren. But now it seems even more empty and sad. I sit on the bed and wait until everything is gone. I pull the brush through my hair and stare into my reflection. I'm beautiful. Broken, but beautiful.

Self destruction is such a pretty little thing, isn't it?

I'm being shaken by the arm.

"Okay Allykinz. You're up." Mati says.

Dear lord. I'm going to be lowered into the arms of Dylan and whisked away.

I smooth out my dress and lock the door as Matilda leaves out the front entrance as to not seem suspicious.

I crawl out the window and inched down until Dylan's hands were safely around me.

 My head swooned with excitement and I was falling again.

Down into the place I hate the most right now.

My mind.

Dylan's POV

I saw as her body went limp in my arms.

Wonderland has taken her from me again.

I lay her head on a pillow in the backseat of my car and pull blankets over her. Matilda slips into the back with her.

I climb into the car and start the engine. We drive off into the night.

Matilda's POV

We got her out of the asylum. But we can't get her out of her mind. She's stuck. I feel helpless. I watch her blanched face and her lifeless limbs. Tomorrow I will go to town and look for something. Anything. If an asylum can't help her, what can?

But also, we don't know if the asylum was even trying to help or if they just want to kill the patients off.

Dylan keeps looking in his rearview mirror for a sign of her awakening.

His forehead is full of worry lines.

"Dylan, she'll be okay."

"Yea. But how much longer til it consumes her and she actually dies? I can't deal with that. Since she's been at the asylum, it's gotten worse. She's emaciated."

"She needs good food. I'll stay awhile to make you guys some. She also needs rest. Did you bring the melatonin like I asked?"

"Of course, I'd do anything to make sure she's safe. I'll stay up all night if it's to make sure she's still breathing"

"A-Alice?"

"Mmmm.. Matilda? Are we still at Rutledge?" Alice asks.

"No, baby, we're on our way to my house. Everything will be okay. Any updates?"

Dylan is so going to spoil her.

She looks at me, face glowing.

"Yes actually!"

"Tell me! Dylan! Eyes on the road!"

"Oh come on, it's midnight, who's out this late?"

And then, Alice told us everything.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a few minutes, we arrive at Dylan's house.
Matilda is scrambling to get everything out and into his guest room.
Dylan has a fairly nice house. 3 rooms. His parents are gone, I guess. His kitchen is empty, probably bc he brought all his food with him when they were visiting.
I'm glad to be out of the asylum and in a house.
Now to figure this other stuff out.
