Dylan's POV
Matilda brought in all the groceries and immediately began to make dinner.
I told Alice to go sit down and rest a bit while I brought everything in.
But her being Alice, she insisted on helping.
I locked all the doors and pulled shut all the curtains, to ease her mind.
She never told me, but I can see how she always looks over her shoulder as if someone or something was going to grab her at any second.
I can't ease the bad things her mind shows her, but I can definitely stop the physical ones from coming near her and hurting her.
One less thing to worry about, yes?
After Alice is settled into her room, Mati tells Alicenne the plan of how she will switch off to throw, whomever it may concern, off.
She agrees. She's happy we thought of something so she can spend time with both of us.
Matilda follows Alice up the stairs as I clean the kitchen and dining room up.
In about 10 minutes, they're both downstairs and Alicenne is in her cute little pajamas.
We walk Matilda out to her car and hug her goodbye.
"How ya feelin, babe?" I ask.
"I'm fine, just a bit sleepy"
"Want to take a sleeping pill and head off to bed?"
"Sure.."
She looks undecided.
"I think you'll have a better chance at a dreamless sleep with them."
"Okay" she squeaks.
When I return from getting the pill and water, she's crying in her bed.
"I've wasted so much time on loving you in my head than actually telling you and now I'm probably dead."
"No..No don't talk like that! You'll be fine. I'm not letting you go that easy, Alicenne."
She looks up at me with tearful eyes and I kiss her,
With all the passion I have.
All the feelings I have for her are gushing out.
Alice's POV
I'm kissing Dylan in a way I've only done in my dreams.
I can't help but wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer.
We fall onto my bed.
My hands fall to his waist and I trail my fingers up his sides, bringing his shirt with them.
"Alice.."
"Don't talk. Just take me."
