It has been five years since the manor was built. While they were studying, this place has been serving a grand purpose.
Kairos called the gang into the great hall and the three hundred of them, along with Vouno and the fifteen bodyguards, gathered at the middle.
They moved away the long table and the chairs, then stood waiting.
Except for a few of them, the rest had no idea the reason for being here. Then Kairos pointed at the ceiling and said, "Look."
They saw a small air shaft at the top. Its size is no bigger than an apple.
When all of them had tilted their heads up, they saw shadows wriggling out. More and more flooded the place, until each of them was accompanied by something.
Their speed was so quick that only they stopped could their appearance be clearly seen.
"Eastern Dragons!"
"True Dragons!"
"Whoa, they grew big."
"What's this, I've never heard about them before?"
"Why does the Snowdrifts have dragons? I thought they were extinct!"
There were exclamations all around, but they were split into two parties.
One of them were from the group that know about the dragonlings and the other, which numbered more, were those that didn't.
"Actually, these aren't True Dragons," Snow said carefully.
In the sea of voices, they couldn't tell who spoke and there were quite a few disagreements to her words.
"These can't be normal dragons, I've seen a Wind Serpent before, and the draconic aura on it was pathetic compared to these..."
"But there are too many to be True Dragons. Could they be dragons with purer bloodlines?"
"Impossible! There are too many of them, if they are from one particular breed it might be possible; after all, dragons are vigorous. But, there are three types here. See, there are fire, ice, and lightning dragons."
"No, there are four types... There's wind dragons too," someone pointed out at a few dragonlings with miniature wispy hurricanes surrounding their bodies.
The number of wind dragonlings are few fewer than their counterparts because Kairos did not unlock this element until recently.
At this time, Snow spoke again, "What I mean is that these are Ancestor Dragons. You guys know, those that gave birth to the True Dragon race?"
The frenzy became greater at hearing this.
"No way! Aren't those beings from the celestial realm?"
"Yes they are, that's why they are still so tiny," Alan explained.
The crowd quickly quietens.
"But why are there so many Ancestor Dragons here?"
"That is something our dear leader needs to explain," Snow said with an impish smile.
Kairos embarrassedly laughed, then he said, "I'll show you guys instead..."
He summoned a copper sword in his hand that has four types of elemental inscriptions on it.
The material is worthless in the eyes of cultivators, but the runic symbols are far ahead of their time, so much so that even the national treasure grade equipment couldn't compare.
Kairos lifted it up with one hand, and just like that he broke it through channelling his powerful Ki into the item.
The fragile material shattered into pieces and fell onto the ground, but no one bothered to look at the shards.
