Chapter 14

Lexi's POV

Today was Cadens birthday and I was bringing him breakfast in bed. He looked so peaceful sleeping with all his muscles relaxed. I put down the tray of food and got on top of him, leaning in to peck his lips gently which he automatically returned.

"More." He says opening his eyes. His voice sounded husky and just plain sexy. He leaned up to kiss me some more but I put my hand on his chest and pushed him back down.

"Happy birthday princess." I grinned as he groaned at the nick name. "I made you breakfast so eat up then shower we have a busy day today. The boys want to take you out for some fun and I need to go get your Cake." I give him one last kiss and get off the bed.

"I just want to cuddle with you in bed." He says sitting up making the thin sheet drop to his lap revealing his ripped chest and abs. He smirked noticing I was staring at him. I can't believe I sleep next to that hunk of meat. Focus Lexi nows not the time to drop your panties.

"Well see ya!" I quickly exit the room and walk over to the elevator. Wow the guys were right, I am lazy. Once I reach the bottom floor I see Becca slightly bouncing on her feet.

"Where's Ria?" I asked as I neared her. She turned to me and squealed jumping up and down. She grabbed my shoulders and shook me, "GUESS WHAT!" She practically screamed in my face making me wince.

I held both her wrist, "Becca, breathe. You need to calm down before you give us both a heart attack." I say slowly.

"I can't omg Lexi! Guess what! Seriously guess what!"

"I have a feeling your just going to tell me anyway." I say putting her at arms length.

"Ria found her mate! It's the cute shy Vince. The one that came back from camp! I told her to hang out with him and we'll get the cake."

"NO WAY! Oh dang I can't wait til they mate!"

"I can't wait til you mate! We need alpha babies." She pouted her lip giving me puppy eyes. I rolled my eyes and walked pass her. "Lets's go barbie." I teased as she scoffed at me mumbling under her breath.

After arriving at the local bakery we looked at the chocolate cake that was shaped as a werewolf head.

"Can I just taste it?" I asked tempted to grab a hand full.

"No, control your hunger."

I groaned and looked away from the cake and automatically my eyes look towards the woods and I see someone in a coat watching me. He smelled like a vampire, a familar scent but I couldn't pin point it on whos scent it was. It was faint like it was hidden but I still caught the scent. He then turned away from me and used his super speed to run off.

"Becca let's go home now." I quickly put the cake in the car and hopped in with Becca.

Once we were home everything was ready. Everyone helped with the food and decorations and Caden was about to come back home with the boys. He didn't want a surprise party because it wasn't really a surprise if you know theres going to be one, so we skipped that part.

"WE'RE HOME!!!" The boys walked to the backyard and I saw Caden searching for me. When he spotted me he immediately rushed towards me and kissed me lifting me off the ground abit.
