WHEN THE PAST COMES TO JUMPSTREET

CHAPTER 45: KISSES IN THE MOONLIGHT

The kids wanted to know if Grandma wanted to watch one of their favorite movies. She said she would love to. Sydney said, "Before we start your movie, how about we go get our jammies on."  They said ok.  Sydney and the kids left the room.

Tom's mom said, 'Sydney has done wonderful with them, they are so sweet and so loving and so smart Tommy" He said, "yes mom they are, and she has done a wonderful job."

Judy came.  Tom hugged her.  He said, "Judy thank you again for doing this."  She said, 'Anytime" she said hi to Tom's mom. She said, "you sure do have 3 beautiful grandbabies huh" She said, "yes"

Sydney and the kids came out. Sydney said, "hey Judy" The kids ran and gave her a hug.

Sydney asked Judy if she wanted something to eat, said she had plenty. Tom said it is all delicious. Judy said she was hoping there were some left.  They went to the kitchen.  Tom started the movie. The kids were all on his lap.

Judy and Sydney were at the table. Judy said, "So things went good" Sydney said, "yes, at least I think, Tom's mom said that everything was good."  Judy said, "Girl this is delicious."

Tom said, "kids, can I ask you for a favor" They said, "Sure daddy" He said, 'You think it would be ok, if you stay here and watch your movies with Grandma and Judy, while I take mommy out for a little while."  They said, "yes" The girls said, "Daddy are you and mommy going on a date" Tom smiled. He said, "yes, at least I hope we are. I hope mommy will want to go" The girls laughed.

Sydney and Judy came out to the living room. The kids were laughing.  Sydney said, "What's funny" The girls said, "mommy you are going on a date" Sydney said, "I am" Tommy said, "yes mommy" Sydney said, "I see ok, so with who" The kids laughed.  Tom said, "hey now that's not funny" The girls said, "With daddy mommy" They laughed. Sydney laughed.  Tom said, "I asked Judy to come by and stay with the kids, and mom is here, so do you think I could steal you for a little while. Kids gave me their permission to take you on a date" Sydney smiled.  Madison said, "mommy say yes to daddy" Sydney and Tom laughed. So did Judy and Tom's mom.

Sydney said, "yes Tom I'd love to go on a date with you, although I'm kind of full, so I can just watch you eat."  He said, "I'm full too, so it's not an eating kind of date" She said, "ok, I need to go get ready" Tom said, "No you look beautiful and perfect just the way you are."  Madison said, "daddy we love that song" He laughed.

Sydney told the kids goodbye and wanted hugs and kisses. Tom got kisses too. Tom said, "
mom I can take you home when we get back, if you want to stay or if you need to go now."  She said, "no I will stay."

Tom took Sydney's hand. They went to his car.  He opened the car door for her.  She got in, he went around. He said, "Syd I hope it's ok. If we get away for a while."  Sydney said, "Sure" He said, "I know you miss the kids" She said, "yes I do, but they are safe and happy with Judy"

Tom drove. He pulled into a park, it had a little pond, with ducks.  Tom said, "is this ok" Sydney said, "yes, it's beautiful" Tom got out and helped her out of the car. Taking her hand. They walked.

Tom had a blanket.  He put it on the bench. He said, 'if you get too cold let me know. We can go."  She said, "it's fine."  They sat down.  Tom put his arm around her.  She said, 'I love you so much Tom" He said, "I love you even more now than the day I met you."

Tom kissed her.  He finally broke the kiss, after they were both burning up, and moaning.

Tom said, "Sydney, I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I mean I know how you feel about buying gifts. And you are right, you can't buy forgiveness, or love" Sydney said, 'Tom if your mom wants to get the kids something it's fine."  He smiled.  He said, "no that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about you and me."
