"What happened to your forehead?" August pointed at the large red bump on Harry's head.
"I fell off a table." He said
"What?" August stared at him
"He almost fought off the imperious curse!" Ron chimed in, "It was like his body didn't want to jump, but did anyways, and then..." Ron's hand hit his forehead, "Bam!"
"Are you okay?" She asked, Harry, looked at her for a second.
"I'm fine." He said, "You know, sometimes that way Moody talks-"
"You'd think we were all going to be attacked any second?" August joked, "I've noticed."
Harry smiled at her, "Are you coming down? I think those schools will be here soon."
"I'm just waiting for Neville." She told him. Harry noticed most of her friends had already gone, but George was sitting in the armchair next to August, looking bored out of his mind.
"I'll see you down there then?"
"Probably," August said in a sarcastic tone, "Most likely."
George followed August and Neville out to the front of the castle where everyone was waiting. Neville had given August a new book on soil, and George laughed every time Neville freaked out when August would take a step down the stairs while she read. August looked up just in time as Fred came rushing down the hall from the direction of the owlery.
"He still hasn't written back," Fred told George. August looked between the two as they talked.
"He can't avoid us forever," George said
"Who's avoiding you?" said Ron coming up behind the group. Neville jumped at his arrival.
"Wish you would," said Fred, looking irritated at the interruption.
"It's a bummer, all right," George was saying gloomily to Fred.
"What's a bummer?" Ron asked George.
"Having a nosy git like you for a brother," said George
"What are you two up to?" August asked. August put her book under her arm, but George just grabbed it so she didn't have to worry about holding it.
"We'll tell you later." Fred sighed.
"I asked McGonagall how the champions are chosen but she wasn't telling," August told them, "She just told me to shut up and get on with transfiguring my raccoon."
"Yours was mean." George told her, "He bit me."
"Maybe you deserved it," August said, causing Ron to snort.
"I don't like you." He looked into August's eyes, but a smile just grew wide on her face resulting him to look away so she wouldn't get the satisfaction of his smile.
Hermione came running up behind the group, completely out of breath. "Here, Moon." She said handing her a badge, "I didn't realize the pin had silver in it before I gave it to you. Is your hand okay?"
"Oh, don't worry about it." August smiled, pinning it to her robes.
"Spew?" Fred laughed, "What does that mean?"
"Not spew," said Hermione impatiently. "It's S-P-E-W. Stands for the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare."
"Never heard of it," George said
"Well, of course, you haven't," said Hermione briskly, "I've only just started it."
"Yeah?" said Fred in mild surprise. "How many members have you got?"
