12. Hidden & Revealed

"Um, Taehyung, Isn't it rude?"

"Uh, he said he was fine..."

"That's because you said you should meet Jungkook-"

"Exactly..."

"Hmm~ He's been helping you since yesterday, so I thought it would be nice if you treat him to breakfast. Even if he didn't ask..."

"But I already promised Jungkook."

Until they reached the dormitory, Jimin was asking, hoping that Taehyung would change his mind. Jimin decided to go to the cafeteria early in the morning to do a shift work that he couldn't do yesterday evening. He didn't get in touch with the manager, but he thought it would be good to show his sincerity. And he was very grateful that Seojoon was considering his situation and came to pick them up at Jin's vet even though it was very early morning.  Therefore, when Taehyung refused Seojoon's request to have breakfast together, Jimin felt a little sorry for him.

"You can dine with him at any time..."

"But I already promised. Also, Professor Park said it was okay. There will be another chance to thank him. And, I can't disappoint Jungkook."

"huh~ You're too nice to him. He's stubborn annoying kid~"

Jimin frowned and grumbled as if protesting Taehyung. Jimin couldn't believe that Taehyung's really not perceptive. Couldn't be seen Seojoon's disappointed expression when he turned down his request?

To be honest, Jimin couldn't understand why Jungkook's presence made him so mad. Because he, who seems rich enough for anyone to see even at a glance, behaves as he pleases as if the world belonged to him? Well, that alone would be reason enough. Seeing those kinds of people made him feel more tired. And, even if it wasn't because of Jungkook, he was strangely not in a good mood today.

"Don't hate him. He's just inexperienced at expressing his feelings. When you get to know him well, you'll know he's a pretty decent one."

Jimin squeezes his lips tightly and lets out a long breath through his nose. He wondered how Taehyung would react if he knew what Jungkook had said to Yoongi about Jin's Vet like a command. But when they arrived in front of the dormitory, Jimin only smiled bitterly. It was a very luxurious dormitory that he had only heard of, a place where only the child of the rich lived.

"Oh, you live here."

Taehyung bit his lip as if nervously. He couldn't figure out why, but Jimin's voice gave him the feeling that he was offended. But that's just his feeling and he's not sure of anything. Taehyung didn't know how to react. The silence between him and Jimin was enough to make him nervous.

"Well, Ji-"

"I have to go! See you later!"

Taehyung was restless as he see Jimin's back who sudden departure. He was looking back in time to see if he had done anything wrong with him. Was it because he slept with Tan last night? Leaving Jimin alone in an unfamiliar place? Or is it because he has to work early in the morning? Despite being tired? Could it be that Jimin was uncomfortable with having to waste time and effort due to Tan's illness since yesterday? Is that so? Not knowing what to do, Taehyung lowered his head and looked at his toes, pressing his lips even tighter. He could feel the tears falling.

Jimin turned and ran to Taehyung, and as soon as he saw Taehyung crying with his head down, his heart ached.

"Oh, what have I done? Jimin, you such an idiot! What did that dull boy doing wrong? Huh~ You know, he didn't do anything wrong."
