"Jungkook, stop. If you keep doing this, you'll be knocked out before you even fight your grandpa!"

It seemed like Jungkook didn't even hear Yoongi's worried reprimand.

"Jungkook! Do you even know how long you've been like this? Jeon Jungkook!!"

Yoongi, who could not bear to watch him any longer, approached Jungkook and grabbed his arm as if to snatch it. However, Jungkook was still so full of energy that it was hard to believe that he had been pounding the punching bag for hours already. Rather than making Jungkook stop, Yoongi was pushed by Jungkook's swinging arm and was barely able to maintain his balance and try not fall.

"Jeon Jungkook, you fucking asshole!"

Yoongi cursed and took a step closer as if to stop Jungkook once again, but he soon stopped in place and sighed as if he had given up.

"Okay, beat it as much as you want! If you were okay in this situation... hah... I would be more afraid of it. You won't be able to beat up your grandfather, so knock on the punching bag to loosen up your mind, even a little..."

Yoongi muttered and sat down on the sofa as if he had really given up.

Meanwhile, Jungkook did not stop hitting the punching bag. Every time he swung his fist with all his might, he gritted his teeth. Sweat ran down his entire body like rain, and his breathing was unstable. He was struggling not to stumble and not let out a cry of pain.

For Jungkook, this was a somewhat familiar pain. Seven years ago, when Taehyung suddenly disappeared, Jungkook, who was still young, faced the pain of losing the person most precious to him. It was the first time in his life that  he had lost something, and no matter how hard he tried to find him, he couldn't find him. The family name he was so proud of was completely worthless and there was nothing he could do. For the first time in his life, Jungkook had to deal with all the dark emotions that were enough to destroy him, such as frustration and sadness.

And once again, feeling himself struggling in the same pain and darkness as before, Jungkook had no choice but to promise himself that this time he would never sit around helplessly like before. Jungkook, who was blaming himself for not being able to protect Taehyung, was breathing heavily, but still did not stop hitting the punching bag.

At that time, the doorbell rang, and Jungkook reflexively looked toward the front door.

"I'll go."

Yoongi hurriedly headed towards the entrance. Since he had not yet been able to contact Namjoon, he became alert as to whether Jungkook's grandfather might have sent someone. But the sight of Jimin standing with a gloomy face behind the open door made him anxious.

"Jimin...?"

"Well, I'm back..."

"Jimin? Jimin, Have you met my Tae? How's he doing? Is he okay? He... he... wasn't he looking for me? He.. He.."

"Jungkook! Jungkook, Stop! Jimin, First, come inside!"

Yoongi puts all his strength into his body to stop Jungkook, who hastily approached the front door, and steps aside to allow Jimin to enter the room.

"Yoongi-hyung! Let go of me! Jimin, tell me. How did he look? Tell me!!"

Jungkook shook off Yoongi and approached Jimin, asked urgently. From the moment he entered the room, Jimin's eyes were fixed on the floor, as if he couldn't bear to look at Jungkook. But, his appearance only made Jungkook's impatience worse.
