25. Instinctively...

"Tae, have a nice day~ Oh, don't forget to eat on time! Oh, and-"

"Aigoo~~ Hobi hyung! Don't worry~ I'll contact Jimin and stick with him. Well, even if I don't, he won't leave me alone."

Holding Yeontan in his arms, Taehyung smiled brightly at Hoseok who was constantly worried about him as he followed him to the cafe entrance. Taehyung knew very well that no matter how much he showed off the brightest smile in the world, the concern that hung over Hoseok's face would still be there. Even if he couldn't see it, he could clearly feel it.

"Don't worry, Hobie hyung. I'll meet Jimin as soon as I get to school. He'll be waiting for me at the school entrance. We're taking the same classes. So you really don't have to worry."

"Yeah, that's right. I'm not worried! Who said I would worry?? Absolutely not. Yeah... I'm not..."

Hoseok shrugged his shoulders and pretended to be calm, but his voice was full of concern.

It's been two weeks since Taehyung has been living with Hoseok. Yes, with Hoseok and Jimin. No one could have predicted that Jungkook would make such a decision. The appearance of Jungkook that day left a deep impression on Hoseok. 

The pure anger and sadness that Jungkook erupted in was clearly conveyed to the hearts of everyone present that day so intensely that it frightened them. And Contrary to everyone's anxiety, Jungkook decided that Taehyung would stay with Hoseok. It seemed that he was only concerned with helping Taehyung find peace. And everyone couldn't help but be genuinely surprised by his unexpected behavior. 

Actually, Hoseok didn't know anything about Jungkook. However, judging from the numerous wealthy people with filthy personalities he has seen befor and the reactions of Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jin, Hoseok could also feel how different Jungkook's decision was from his usual behavior. And Hoseok couldn't help but be truly grateful for what Jungkook did for Taehyung. 

Besides, isn't he the savior of Taehyung that they have been curious about?! So he couldn't disobey Jungkook's request not to say anything to Taehyung, at least for now. To be honest, telling Taehyung things he couldn't remember was something he hesitated about. 

Anyway, that's how Taehyung was able to go straight to Hoseok's cafe right after he was discharged from the hospital. Hoseok and Jimin didn't say anything to him, and he didn't ask them anything either. He knew very well that he would not be able to stay with Hoseok if Jungkook hadn't allowed it. And he honestly couldn't discern how he felt about Jungkook. Jungkook was somehow an existence that could not be clearly defined to him. It gave him a strangely uncomfortable and uneasy feeling.

However, he was relieved to be able to stay away from Jungkook. He didn't know how long that would be allowed, but staying by Hoseok's side certainly helped him find stability. 

Furthermore, when Jin brought Yeontan to him and hugged him tightly, he poured out tears and pain from his mental wound that he had not even recognized for a long time without realizing it. Jin certainly had the qualities to be a good doctor. Even though he had given up on that path, the qualities he possessed were still with him. Jin advised Taehyung to seek psychological treatment, saying that it is not too late. And Taehyung, of course, refused. He had no expectations or hopes for his life. He just existed. And, thankfully, Jin didn't force anything on him. He just asked Taehyung to bring Yeontan to the clinic often, saying that he needed constant treatment and observation. And Jin didn't forget to inform him that he might meet Namjoon when he visited the clinic as he always did.

At first, Taehyung was surprised by Jin's attitude of treating him so naturally and casually. Jin definitely knew about his past. Even so, Taehyung couldn't believe that his warmth toward him was unchanging. Taehyung could sense from the way he spoke and the way he hugged him that he genuinely cared and loved him. So he realized why Jin had recommended that he visit the clinic often, but he had no choice but to accept it as if he didn't know. And actually spending time with someone who knew and loved him for who he really was seemed to heal his mind and heart considerably. He went to see Jin once every two or three days, and as he mentioned, he had to meet Namjoon, but strangely, he wasn't too uncomfortable. That was something Taehyung never expected.
