"Should I believe everything you tell me? Huh~ Are you kidding me?"
Seojoon's eyes were filled with disbelief as he looked at the man who sitting in front of him in an arrogant manner, savoring his coffee. Seojoon sighed quietly.
Tomorrow, a new school year begins.
Seojoon, who had come to school to say hello to his teaching assistants in advance, was still suspicious of Bogum's unexpected visit. He knew his younger brother better than anyone else, that even his smallest words or actions had some hidden intention. Besides, what are all the stories he's been talking about? Seojoon shook his head and sneered. However, he couldn't help but wince a little at the sight of Bogum quietly looking at him as if he had already anticipated how he would react. Seojoon's eyebrows furrowed involuntarily.
"Then what did you think? Even if father asked me to, would I really have come here so often just to see my brother? You? The older brother with only a superficial name? Oh come on~ Let's leave this useless talk aside!"
"I also have no desire to discuss things like brothers with you. I already threw all that away when I left home."
"Uhmmm~ you did. And that was the most important condition of our deal. You leave and I take responsibility."
Bogum's words made Seojoon frown even more. There was nothing wrong with what he said. Although he was the eldest son in his family, he had negative opinions about business and arranged marriage, and eventually gave up his position instead of placing all of his responsibilities on Bogum. Of course, it wasn't just the responsibility he handed over to his younger brother. He gave Bogum all the power, honor and title he would ever have, along with the responsibilities.
Seojoon was happy, achieving everything with his talents, and had nothing he lacked or coveted. He loved his work, loved his students, he's a respected professor, and a promising photographer. He was enjoying a very happy life with his now only family, his dog Simba, and with some close friends. Among them was Taehyung, along with Jin and Hoseok. Seojoon's life was extremely happy, until the person called his younger brother, Bogum bothers his life again.
"So what do you want to say? What do you want from me by saying such nonsense?"
Seojoon couldn't help but feel annoyed. He just wanted to kick Bogum out of his office right now. But, the fact that the person Bogum constantly mentioned was Taehyung made him hold back.
"Don't waste time and just telling me. What do you want?"
Bogum put down the coffee cup on the table and snorted. Unlike himself, who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, Seojoon was idealistic and had a naive side, which made it so easy for Bogum to control him. It was like that in the past and it doesn't seem to be any different now.
"Bro, what do you think you can do for me? Do you think you still have something for me?"
".............."
"Come on, bro. I just hope we can get along. I know you're friendly towards my boy. I just thought you should know what's between me and him before anyone else. More than anything, I just hope you take good care of him until he gets back to his place. Never provoke him or make him uncomfortable, just make sure if he's fine... I'm asking you favor. Please."
"This is ridiculous..."
"Hahaha... I won't deny it. Who knows that I could find my lost fiancé here, near my brother."
Bogum smiled brightly and looked straight at his brother. Seojoon wanted to retort something, but he was just speechless. A lost fiancé? The story about Taehyung that he heard from Bogum, who came out of nowhere, somehow sounded a little serious to dismiss as just his delusion or bullshit. Anyway, the story that Jungkook's family was chasing Taehyung and Taehyung's father, accusing him of being an industrial spy, and that he had been protecting Taehyung, whom he met by chance, for the past seven years was a shock to him.
