"Jungkook, you'd better hurry! You didn't forget that today is your presentation day, right?"

Yoongi, feeling impatient, walking back and forth in the living room, urging Jungkook, who was still not coming out of his room. Almost two months have passed since the new school year started, and most students were busy taking midterm exams these days.

"Taehyung, don't you have any exams?"

Yoongi asked as his eyes wandered to Taehyung, who was lazily lying on the sofa and looking at his cell phone. Jungkook's presentation today was very important. His department had been preparing for this since the beginning of the school year, and it was the first presentation of a project in which several companies at home and abroad participated, so this will not just a mid-term exam for students, but an opportunity for students to have a good experience and career, for their future.

And Yoongi was suspicious that Taehyung, who obviously knew this, was showing such an indifferent behavior. If it were like usual, Taehyung would have been helping Jungkook get dressed. Things like adjusting the fit of a suit or helping with hair. Yoongi chuckled as he watched Taehyung giggling a little every now and then while constantly scrolling his phone screen.

"Huh~ He has to get there on time. Hey, Jungkook, Hurry up!! What you wear can't have any effect on your presentation, you idiot!"

Yoongi looked at Taehyung in disbelief, who still showed no reaction to his words, and shouted once again to urge Jungkook.

"Why are you acting so carelessly like your boyfriend? You weren't really that kind of person. Today's presentation will have a huge impact on his grades!"

With a face still full of impatience, Yoongi protested to Taehyung. Just because of grades? When Taehyung finally raised his head and looked at him with an innocent face, Yoongi let out a deep sigh. Yes, of course, JK Group was also participating in this project, which was prepared in collaboration with leading companies.

After talking to his father on the phone on the first day of the school, Jungkook had been showing a noticeable difference in his studies. The reason was obvious. Jungkook and Taehyung will attend a party hosted by his grandfather, and their relationship will be made official in front of many people gathered there that day. Taehyung's false accusation was cleared by his grandfather, and he had a father who was watching his back reliably. Now, all he had to do was prove his worth and stand proudly in front of everyone as JK's heir. And, for that, Jungkook has really worked hard on this project.

And of course, Taehyung could see why Yoongi was so nervous. In the meantime, Jungkook's grandfather may have heard enough about how Jungkook was doing from someone. However, today was the day to officially see results, and it was obvious that someone from JK Group would report Jungkook's every move to his grandfather. Taehyung fully knew what Yoongi was worried about and why Jungkook had been working so hard. The Jeon Hyeop he remembered was a person who would make both children and adults feel intimidated.

To be honest, Taehyung was touched by the dependability and reliability that Jungkook showed. This Jungkook he was seeing now was a completely different version of his Kookie that he remembered, who only thought about himself and was stubborn. And he was truly grateful and relieved that there was someone like Yoongi by Jungkook's side.

"Do you know that sometimes you worry unnecessarily?"

"Kookie~"

Taehyung's eyes sparkle at the sound of Jungkook's firm voice. He straightened his back, leaned forward slightly, and held out his hand to Jungkook. Just at the same pace as Taehyung's movements, Jungkook knelt down in front of him, took the hand he held out, and intertwined their fingers. He immediately glanced at Yoongi and reprimanded him.
