34. Hold Me Tight

"He's pretending he's doing it forcefully, but Hobi Hyung, can you see him? He looks really happy these days."

".........."

Hoseok just smiled at Jimin's words. He huffed at the sight of Taehyung carefully examining the framed photos. Like Jimin said, Taehyung seemed very excited these days. 

Once he decided to participate in the photo exhibition hosted by Seojoon, Taehyung was very excited as he print the photos which recommended by Seojoon and put them in matching frames.

"Taehyung, when is the exhibition?"

"That's this weekend..."

Jimin and Hoseok looked at each other and smiled. Taehyung's voice was higher than usual. No matter how hard he tried to hide it, Taehyung's heart seemed to keep coming out. Just then, Taehyung's phone vibrated and they watched with interest as he answered the call.

"Seojoon hyung! My photos are ready now. Shall I bring them to school today?"

Taehyung asked while fingering the end of one corner of the frame. A smile never left his lips. Seojoon's proposal was actually breathing him again. Seojoon praised and supported his photo work throughout the semester, and Taehyung was able to feel a little bit confidence.

He thought leaving was the only way.

Turn away from everything and have to live as if he had nothing to do with Jungkook from the start... So, he thought, it would be better to leave this place and go somewhere where no one knew him and no one he knew...

But everything he tried to turn his back on was holding him back.

Hoseok, who always protected and loved him, and Jimin, who called him 'friend' for the first time in his life. And Jin, who always makes him feel as if he is with his mother or sister, Yoongi and Namjoon seemed cold-hearted on the outside, but in fact very friendly and genuinely care about him... 

And, Jungkook. The one who rescued him from the hell and gave him a new life... The one who taught him the word hope again, and the one who can make his heart flutter... But he's someone he really shouldn't face again...

What should i call you... I thought a lot, but couldn't find an answer. Watching you sleep, I regretted the promise I made to you. But a promise is a promise... right? I'll leave this place before you wake up. I hope you don't get mad that I'm leaving like this.

I just want you to know this.

The last few days I've been really happy. You may not understand, but I was truly happy. And it was definitely because of you. You would have thought that you replaced the person named Kim Taehyung, but during that time, to me, you were always you. You were not his replacement. 

Probably, I will never come back here again... cause' from now on, this place will remind me of you... I've come here to clear my mind, but I think I've failed. If I see you someday, what should I call you... Whatever your name is, you will always be you to me. I was really happy to be with you... Don't forget our promise, love and trust yourself and  stay healthy.

I have something to work on from now on. I just realized that there is something I must solve. I promise to solve it, to you and to myself.

I wish I could tell you someday...
