"Huh~ I thought I got a false report."

"Hmm~ Is that why you suddenly called me? I didn't realize you were watching me."

Bogum wrinkled his nose and sat on the sofa, leaning his back against the backrest. He crossed his legs, fiddled with the watch on his wrist, and looked at the old man with a cocky expression.

Taehyung was going to school as usual, as if nothing had happened, and Bogum was fully aware that Jungkook's grandfather did not want his grandson and Taehyung to be in the same place. In fact, he was predicting that the old man call him earlier than now. Bogum grinned. The old man seemed to have been more patient than he thought.

"When you made a deal with me, you knew it was impossible to get it back, didn't you?" Jeong Hyeop asked, glaring at Bogum with eyes filled with anger. His voice was menacing.

"I don't understand. What is the problem? I am faithfully carrying out our deal." Bogum shrugged his shoulders and straightened his back, adjusting his sitting posture. He looked at the old man with an expressionless face and spoke in a stern tone. "There's nothing wrong with what he said. He's not part of the JK Family, so even if you order him to marry me, he's not obligated to do so. Haha... that's what he told me. He tells me to win his heart if I want to marry him, so I have no other choice, do I?" Bogum signed out loud on purpose and leaned back against the backrest again.

What he said wasn't a complete lie. And Bogum was quite enjoying the way things were going. Now it seemed that the one who was fretting was not him, but the Jeon Hyup. He liked that too. "Hmm~ Even if he refuses to marry me, you and I have no right to say anything, don't you think like that?" Bogum rather complained to the old man. "Shouldn't you be grateful that I'm trying harder than I promised?"

'Damn, son of a bitch-'

Jeon Hyeop did not want Bogum to notice that he was agitated. He tried to smile and appear calm, but his tightly closed lips twitched uncomfortably. He didn't know if Taehyung would dare to act like that, but like Bogum said, they actually had no right to force Taehyung to do anything. He was very displeased with this whole situation.

"Sir, don't worry too much. Everything will work out your way in the end. Above all..." A meaningful smile appeared on Bogum's lips and he slowly stood up. He tugged on both lapels of his jacket a few times to straighten it out. And while adjusting the shape of the tie around his neck, Bogeum looked straight into the old man's sharp eyes directed at him.

Honestly, Bogum was very satisfied with this situation. Jeon-hyeop's eyes looking at him were full of anger and contempt. The reason he coveted Taehyung in the first place was because he wanted to take away what Jungkook cherished. Moreover, Taehyung has been his for the past seven years. And, it was also secretly revenge for not being able to get what he was aiming for seven years ago.

However, the feelings he felt towards Taehyung had changed a bit recently. Taehyung was like a doll to him that he could have and enjoy whenever he wanted. He took him without mercy and every time he did, he felt superior to Jungkook. But the Taehyung he was seeing these days seemed like a completely different person from the doll he knew. No matter what, he wouldn't hesitate to get what he wanted, but funny enough, watching Taehyung these days, he often found himself trying really hard to win his heart. Like, trying really hard... really. Besides, that great old man, who has the world at his feet, does not dare to control him now. It was a completely unexpected excitement.

"Shouldn't you be cheering me on? If I fail to win his heart, isn't it you who will be in trouble rather than me?" Bogum tilted his head slightly and stood facing the old man, folded his hands together and placed them in front of his lower abdomen. Although he didn't mean to, he had an arrogant smile on his face.
