Jungkook had never seen Taehyung so surprised and happy. The sight of Taehyung holding Yeontan in his arms and rubbing his cheek against Yeontan's fluffy fur was exactly what Jungkook had expected. It was the brightest smile that Jungkook had ever seen from Taehyung when they met again after 7 years.
Yoongi told Jungkook to send Yeontan back to Hoseok's cafe, but Jungkook couldn't give up on Taehyung's bright smile. Jungkook let Yeontan stay in Taehyung's room for a few days, and just as he had hoped, Taehyung was gradually able to alleviate his sadness and frustration caused by his father's death.
Jimin brought Yeontan's food and snacks from Hoseok's cafe and gave them to Taehyung. And through that, Taehyung was able to become closer to Jimin. Jimin was very upset when he saw Taehyung treating him like a stranger. So, unlike Yoongi, he felt grateful to Jungkook for taking the risk of bringing Yeontan to the dormitory.
