Tomorrow was finally the last day of junior year. Mike was kind of dreading it because he didn't want Will to get a job. How would he look after him if they were separated for so many hours out of the day? Will had been looking for summer programs for the last couple of days, so it was definitely official. Will also mentioned that a summer job could help with his transcript, so he'd have a better chance at a good scholarship.

"Ugh I can't wait to get out of here." Will groaned as he plopped on the living room couch. "Like permanently. It sucks that we have a whole year after this."

"I know it does. We'll be fine. You'll be fine. We have each other this time, it should be easier." Mike tried to reassure him.

"You're so cheesy Mike oh my God!" Will giggled. "But nothing you say can make me feel better about school."

"Mhm. We'll be ok though, I'll make sure of it."

"Mike what do you mean by tha-"

"Anyways! We have to get up early tomorrow cause I have to go back to Nancy's to get Holly and bring her back to my parent's house." Mike told Will.

"Wait, when did you talk to your mom?" "A little bit ago when you were in your bed napping. You sleep a lot baby." Mike chuckled, causing Will to dramatically roll his eyes.

Suddenly, they heard the door jingle. "Expecting someone?" Mike asked. "Oh, it's probably just my mom coming in for work." But then, the pair heard a knock. "Uhm... maybe she forgot her key." Will suggested as he got up from the couch. "I'll come with." They went to answer the door to find a not so pleasant surprise.

Jane and her father.

Will froze.

"Hi, uh come in!" Mike greeted nervously, not knowing what to expect. "Hi Will, Wheeler." Hopper said as he walked into the house after Jane. She was silent. She wasn't even really making eye contact with anyone either.

"So Jane here has some things that she would like to say to you both." Hopper started, resting his big hands on his daughter's shoulders.

"Yeah, uhm..." She trailed off. It was weird for them to hear Jane's voice again. She'd been gone for like a month now. No one had heard from her. "Uhm, could I talk to you first, Will? In private."

Will was still frozen. He didn't know what to say to her. Yes, he was angry. What she did to them was so awful, but it's not like she didn't have reasoning behind it. They did technically wrong her first. Even though Will felt bad, he was still upset with what she did.

"Will?" Mike called out, snapping his boyfriend out of it.

"Oh, uh- Yeah sure... We can go to my room." Will was still in shock as he led Jane into the familiar hallway. What happened? Why did her dad have to bring her here?

"So..." Will started as he sat on his bed while Jane stood. "What did you wanna talk about?"

"You know what I wanna talk about Will."

"What, is your dad making you say sorry?" Will spat sarcastically. He didn't know where this sudden attitude was coming from. He genuinely wanted to hear what Jane had to say.

"Come on Will, I just want this to be over. I miss you, and I miss us. But we're not gonna go anywhere from here unless we talk about it first."

"Will-" She paused for a second. "Will, I'm sorry for telling everyone about you guys. I was just so upset and I thought I could get back at you guys by doing that, but... But it went way too far. A-And I saw what they were doing to you. I never meant for it to be like that." Jane started to cry. "I didn't know that people would react the way they did and that was never my intention. I'm so sorry for what I did. Even if I was mad. It wasn't fair to either you or Mike, but especially you. And I just felt so bad that I couldn't even come back to school. I couldn't even face you. And I found out that you were in the hospital and- And I still was too scared. I'm sorry Will." Tears were flowing down Will's face just as well as Jane's at this point. "You tried to kill yourself because of what I did!" She sobbed loudly.
