"But yeah, let's sit down first." Mike gestured to some empty spots in the waiting room.

"Michael honey, what's wrong? You're scaring me." Joyce questioned Mike, worriedly. "Well, uhm. Will hasn't been telling you guys everything." He started.

"Like what?" Johnathan asked as he wrapped an arm around his shaky mother.

"So, when he came home with his arm bleeding... And he said it was an accident. It wasn't. H-he- He did that to himself. Intentionally." He basically whispered.

"Mike, what are you talking about?" Johnathan asked, although already knowing what Mike was insinuating.

"He's been doing that to himself lately. Well I don't know how long but I noticed it about a month ago. A-and he said that he was done and he hadn't done it in a while but-"

"Wait." Johnathan cut him off as he got up from his chair and made his was closer to Mike. "You mean to tell me that my little brother's been hurting himself and you knew about it?" He got even closer.

Just then Nancy walked in and stopped in her tracks at the sight.

"He made me promise- He begged me not to tell anyone because he didn't want you to see him differently and worry you." Mike tried.

"I DONT CARE!" He pushed Mike back. You knew that he was doing this and you didn't think to tell anyone? Me? His mom? I knew I was right about you. I knew you were just gonna cause problems." He pushed Mike again, this time he fell back on the ground.

"Johnathan that's enough!" Joyce exclaimed.

"I knew I should've tried harder to keep him away." He grabbed Mike by the collar.

"JON PUT HIM DOWN!" Nancy yelled.

"IT'S YOUR FAULT! WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL ME?" He screamed into Mike's face.

"YOU WANNA KNOW THE REASON HE HURT HIMSELF SO BAD THAT DAY HE WENT TO MAX'S? BECAUSE OF YOU!" Mike finally jumped out of Johnathan's grasp. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO YELLED AT HIM AND HE RAN AWAY AND TRIED TO KILL HIMSELF! SO DON'T YOU DARE GO THERE WITH ME. JUST DON'T."

"Mike, Johnathan, please!" Nancy pled.

"Fuck you." Johnathan punched Mike directly in the nose. He fell to the ground. "SHIT!"

"JOHNATHAN STOP!" Joyce screamed.

"Shit! Shit! SHIT!" Mike held his nose as blood dripped onto his shirt.

Johnathan now had more tears in his eyes than before. "Stay the hell away from my brother Mike."

Mike gave him a death stare but he knew he couldn't do anything. He stormed off to find his mom. "Mom let's go. I'll come back whenever they call."

"Michael what happened to your nose?" Karen gasped.

"I'm fine. Let's just go." Mike huffed.

"Excuse me?" Karen got up, looking for someone. "Can someone help my son please?" "Mom, what the hell? I said I'm fine."

"Hey there young man, what's going on with your nose?" A doctor noticed Karen.

"I got punched." He said emotionless.

"Well it doesn't look good. I'm not busy right now, follow me and I'll check that out for you." He said eagerly.

"Ok." Mike followed him out of the waiting room and into a hallway. "Just wait in that room to the left and I'll go get a quick X-ray set up."

Mike went up to the cold checkup room. He really didn't want to be there. He just wanted to go home. Or maybe not home but somewhere other than here. Was he really in the wrong for keeping Will's secret? Maybe if he would've told Will's family earlier, he could've gotten help. It was his fault. Mike could've prevented this. It was all his fault.
