'Relax Alexis.' Axcel says, leaning against the wall behind him.

'Excuse me... relax? Axcel, you're on drugs. I'm hanging from the ceiling, and you want me to relax.' I reply.

I'm hanging from the ceiling, tangled in a fabric curtain, or whatever that lady was calling it.

'Miss Camden, he's right. You need to relax, or this won't benefit you.' She says.

She looks like a doula, she talks like a doula.

But I'm not pregnant, and if I was I'm not sure hanging from the ceiling is recommended.

Plus as far as I'm concerned she's an acrobat, not a doula.

Axcel called her something posh, but I'm almost 100% sure my brain is beginning to shut down.

'Axcel, I'm going to pass out.' I say.

'You're not going to pass out, just relax.' He says.

'That's easy for you to say, you're on solid ground.'

He shrugs.

'Why're you doing this to me?' I ask, as I try to untangle my hands from the fabric.

He looks at me straight faced. 'I'm trying to steal back my rightful place in the mafia.'

I narrow my eyes, and he smirks.

'Relax Alexis.' He says.

'Wait Axcel don't change the subject, are you really trying to do that?' I ask him.

He laughs, and pulls his phone from his pocket.

'Axcel, answer me.' I continue.

He doesn't reply.

'Axcel-' I start.

'Hey.' A voice from the other side of the room says.

I spin around, to see Diego standing in the doorway.

'I didn't know you were that flexible.' He says with a smirk.

My eyes widen, and I let go of the fabric.

I drop to the ground, and land on my back.

I groan. 'My spine.'

Axcel laughs at me, then I watch as he peers around the fabric curtain, and waves to Diego.

He waved at Diego...

What is wrong with the world today?

'Ugh my spine is broken.' I look at Diego, then at Axcel, and neither of them look slightly worried that I might be paralysed. 'Guys save me.' I say.

'Alexis, there's a two inch thick mat under you. You'll be fine, I have no sympathy for you.' Axcel says.

Diego comes over, and extends his hand to me.
