After a while, her logic took over again. Calm down, would you please?

Panicked breathing started to subside as she sat on a lidded toilet, shutting the stall door to get some privacy.

Her fingers trembled as she tore at the buttons of her blouse that suddenly seemed to be strangling her.

I'm stupid for dressing up so cutely for him.

The blouse spoke to her uptightness, but the almost see-through cloth said otherwise about her intentions. The white brooch under the collar was itching her and she unpinned it, feeling foolish.

The black bow holding her hair together released a few strands of her pink hair as she absent-mindedly loosened it. Her body worked automatically like she was at home. Inviting relaxation by undressing all which felt fake to her, she shed the façade she crafted for the outside world. With this ritual, Somin breathed out the discomfort and observed her refuge.

Her eyes focused on the filthy door covered in messages.

"I'm in love with Teho's eyes," one girl had written in curly letters.

"Stay away, he's mine!" big round red ones screamed.

"I'll never forgive him for the pain he caused me," precise letters threatened.

"That's because you're stupid!" the big round red ones mocked her.

I'm this one. The exhausted girl's chuckle was full of self-loathing.

"Kyumin doesn't want to date me," sharp handwriting whined.

"He tore my heart into pieces," tiny letters sniffled.

"You're both blind bitches, he's a piece of shit. That fucker beat my classmate real bad," capital letters accused.

"Say it to my face, you dirty liar," the sharp handwriting came back to protect her one-sided love.
