"I'm mesmerized by this drawing. Will it be expensive? I'm sorry for asking this directly," she added.
"Don't be," the tattooist assured her. "It depends, do you want it in color or monochrome? How big do you think it should be? Do you have a place on your body in mind?" the man asked patiently.
"I don't want it to hurt much or be seen easily. Size, probably a bit bigger, maybe 20 cm?" She demonstrated it with her hands, the man smiled and it looked weirdly comforting.
"I think the thigh is the right spot. It could be seen only with a short skirt or swimsuit, mostly it'll be covered and for yourself." He told her the estimated price.
I can afford it. She realized.
I'm not doing much of anything, only saving money now.
Somin remembered how she naively saved mainly for future time with Cholsu.
I have more than enough.
"I would like to schedule an appointment for this. I will take you up on your advice, let's go with the right thigh," she said, determined.
I'm decisive and strict, look at me.
"Well if you want we could do it now since you are already here and you like this design as it is," he offered and Somin's heart wobbled with fear of expectation and the long-lasting effect of this decision.

"Sure," Somin replied and drew a breath.
