Somin and Teho

Somin got out of school as usual after the exhausting class and Teho caught up with her smiling, two coffees in hand.

She'll be here alone. He was giddy like a kid on a Christmas morning handing her a cup.

Somin confusedly accepted. That's a first.

She smelled the contents. Mmm, coffee and it's hella sweet. He remembers.

"It's decaf. Don't worry, you won't be hypnotizing the ceiling," he joked.

Pretty October twilight set around them while the quietness settled in again.

"What do you plan to do during the weekend?" Teho asked her without hesitation and Somin gave him an amused smile.

"Well, I already said it yesterday, I'll have time for myself.'' She tried to focus on the walking and not on him looking cute in his white long coat with a beige turtleneck, making him look expensive.

"You don't want to tell me, interesting, but you know we're closer than that," he gave it a try.

"Judging by the frequency in which you are eating up our supplies, I would say you're the closest with the fridge." She laughed him off to cover up her nervousness.

"I'm staying here this weekend too," he dramatically stated.

"Good for you." She wanted to stop the conversation, knowing that the time they could spend together would worsen her feelings.

"You can do better than this." His protruding eyes inspected her.

Teho noticed Somin looked different, maybe a little bit happier. Is she happy to be alone?

Her paler pink hair shone in the sun and the length seriously complimented her small round chin.

I'm so good at styling. He thought marveling at "his work".

"On a serious note, I really need alone time after all that happened." She gestured widely around herself. "Don't be a dick today, please. I just started to have some motivation in my life again," she said.

"After you met me, right?" He smirked and she gave up.

"Yeah, something along those lines." Somin laughed.

"Well, I can't hold it against you, everybody knows I'm a hell of a catch." The narcissistic boy winked at her.

"I would rephrase. More in the lines of ...you came with the catch," Somin chuckled.

"But I don't have one anymore," he stated and let the implication sink in.

I'm sorry for the lack of the original illustrations, I ran out of time and available laptop to do them. I left the rest of the random graphics in black and white or rarely in color because my cover is black and white too.
