The rested photographer walked energetically around the school and his shoes made a pleasant clapping sound on the marble-like flooring. It wasn't his style to be here in the late afternoon, but Monday was gone without any progress and Tuesday demanded his focus to be back on the tracks. After forcing himself to work in the photography studio inspiration eventually came, only much later than he anticipated.

Sandwich from a second-floor automat in a right hand and steamy hot cocoa carefully balanced in another. Two strong coffees were already gone, no need to sleep when muse is kicking hard. Preparing difficult digital montages for his freelance job, cleaning digital artwork, booking a darkroom to print the recent negatives, the list went on.

Finally. Teho felt energized.

It helped him focus and push back the emotional exhaustion on which he hadn't been used to.

Mia didn't send him one text since the events of the past days which was very unlike her. The tired photographer felt they'll have to have "the talk" soon anyway. He found it inevitable, it had to be done and it all had to be said.

We just don't work, we never did.

Well, it wasn't the point anyway, but I want to try something different, now.

His hopes were up, that maybe the quiet paintress would be open to tread this new path with him. The relationship he never thought he could have or he could even want. But the unknown feelings which slowly bloomed in him were heavy with worries and fear of denial.

Teho walked around the drawing room, its door was slightly parted and then out of nowhere a terrifying scream sounded outwards.

Is someone there?

The lights were off, twilight already set in the hall, but his curiosity got the best of him and he walked in.

I'm sorry for the lack of the original illustrations, I ran out of time and available laptop to do them. I left the rest of the random graphics in black and white or rarely in color because my cover is black and white too.
