"Sorry it took a while," Mari comes back holding her drink with a rather frustrated look. Hailey on the other hand didn't mind and smiled either way.

Hailey and Mari goes a long way. Mula nang maging close at magkaklase sina Dwayne at Hailey, napalapit na 'rin ito sa Ate ni Dwayne na si Mari. Bilang hindi pinagkalooban ng mga kapatid, sabik si Hailey na may maka-bond and share interest with. Apparently, Mari came along and they became somewhat like sisters.

Hailey wasn't treated differently inside the Alvera household, anak nga 'rin ito kung i-turing ng parents ni Dwayne. Dahil nga malapit na magkaibigan 'rin ang parents ng mga ito kaya naman gano'n kagaan ang loob nila sa unica hija. 

There comes a time na Hailey was discovered by a magazine brand at kinukuha ito bilang isang model. She started out lang naman by modeling small name products, until one day she was asked if she can do a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan Magazine. Sino ba naman siya para tumanggi? Imagine you're going to do what you want and get paid for it? Girl was set for life.

Given the instances, kinakailangan lumipat ni Hailey and her family sa metro where she will be starting her career. It broke Mari's heart nang malaman iyon. May isang linggo 'din na hindi siya kinikibo ni Dwayne dahil sa hindi niya alam ang mga nangyayari. Too much for two person that agreed to no secrets.

Back to regular programming, she is well and back. She wanted to focus more on studying kasi nga college na siya. Her high school days were spent more on photoshoots and brand modeling kaysa ang mag participate in academics at mag luksa sa Pythagorean theorem.

Kaya she wants to make bawi this college. And by means of bawi, lilipat siya pabalik sa kinagisnang probinsiya.

Tulad ng walang kamalay-malay si Dwayne sa mga nangyari ay Hailey for the past two years, wala 'rin siyang kamalay-malay na nakabalik na pala ito, at balak maging late enrollee sa unibersidad nila.

"Who are they?" Baling ni Hailey ng tingin kung saan galing si Mari kanina.

"Ahh sila Dwayne,"

"Oh Dwayne, really?" The sound of the name from her childhood made her eyes spark.

"Yeah, the guys are his friends, you've known them right? From high school? And eughk! That Akira girl" Bakas sa boses ni Mari ang disgust. Though not literally and figuratively.

"A glimpse from High Schoo, diba nga I transferred?" Pag tugon niya. "Is that Akira girl his girlfriend?" 

"Honestly, I don't know. Maya't maya bukambibig ng kapatid ko, nakakairita na!" Huminga ng malalim si Mari habang tinu-twirl ang baso na may alak na hawak. "Hindi ko alam pero I don't like her," Muli, lumingon ito sa direksyon nina Dwayne only to see her brother being too close to Akira na animo'y may binubulong with a smile curling at the corner of his lips.

"Why? She seems nice naman oh?" Hailey looks at their direction. Sabay-sabay na nagtatawanan kapag tuwing may kinu-kwento si Charlsee, even Akira is enjoying herself.
