The performance started and ended perfectly. They did a group hug ng makababa na silang lahat sa stage, syempre, kasama ang manager nilang si Julia.
"tangina! yung kamay ko nanginginig!" sabi ni Joshua.
"ako din! pahampas!" sagot ni Joj at hinampas siya.
"ako na naman?!!" kunwari galit na reklamo ni Joshua.
Their laughter came to an end when they heard a familiar man's voice.
"Jea." Marc calls, taking everyone's attention.
"cous!" nakangiting lapit ni Janella dito, hugging him.
"napanuod mo?" she asked and Marc hugged her back.
Binati din ni Marc sila Jane ng humiwalay na sila sa yakapan nila.
"napanuod ko actually, ang galing niyo." sabi nito ng naka ngiti.
But somehow, Janella can feel na may mali.
"cous, anong problema?" she asked and Marc sighed.
"andito si tito." he said and Janella felt her world shake.
what is he doing here?
"he wants to talk to you, naghihintay siya sa labas." he added and Janella nodded her head bago nilingon ang mga kasama.
"balik ako, kausapin ko lang dad ko." she said at hinalikan si Jane sa noo.
"I love you." bulong niya dito and Jane smiled bago sumagot.
"I love you too."

"are you seriously in a relationship with a girl Jea?!" her dad yells at her as soon as she enters her dad's car.
Muntik na siyang mapa eyeroll dahil sa sinabi nito.
So what if she is?
"I am." she simply answered.
"hiwalayan mo!" he orders her that made her chuckle, bago tuluyang natawa. Her dad looked at her dead in the eye and she can no longer help it and rolled her eyes at him, bago nagsalita.
"what makes you think I'll follow your words, dad?" she asks, Janella's usual tone gone, instead replaced by cold ones. Her dad always brings this side of her.
"I'll disown you pag d mo ginawa and you know so well na kaya kung gawin yun Jea." he says, threatening her.
Janella chuckles once again.
"of course kaya mo, kaya nga namatay si ate diba? you disowned her just because she did not meet your expectation, marrying someone not from your standards. mom also died because of you, hinahayaan mo yung mga taong mahal ka na mamatay just because you're selfish." she answered.
"well, hindi naman ako mamamatay, I mean, I don't even have the slightest concern for you anymore. pagod na ako dad. pero tanong ko lang, kailan ka ba talaga matututo dad?" she asks looking at him.
She then took a deep breath and sighed, "but fine, do whatever you want, I don't care." she said sabay binuksan ang pinto ng sasakyan.
"Jea, pag umalis ka ngayon, I will really di---" she did not let her dad finish his words at umalis na.
Tss. I never had a father anyways. He just made things official.
She thinks as she walks back inside the school.
Meanwhile, hindi mapakali si Jane the moment na umalis si Janella at susundan niya sana ito but then both Marc and Joj stopped her.
Pinaliwanag sa kanya ni Marc ang sitwasyon ni Janella sa dad niya as she listened intently.
Joshua and Julia also listened as Marc lets them hear it, sa tingin niya din kasi pinagkakatiwalaan ni Janella ang mga 'to. He knows na hindi basta-basta nagpapapasok ng kung sino-sino si Janella sa buhay niya, but these group of people easily came in.
That night sa dinner proved his assumptions right. Nakita niya kung pano kasaya si Janella na kasama ang mga ito. Even with Julia na kakakilala lang nila, Janella's eyes spoke fondness and friendship.
"may kapatid si Jea na namatay dahil sa isang aksidente.. she died dahil umalis na ito sa bahay nila, tito disowned her for marrying someone na ayaw niya para sa anak niya." he started.
"that added fuel to an already burned relationship between them two, namatay kasi ang mom ni Jea because she found out about tito cheating, inatake sa puso, Jea's left with only her sister, Joj and I pero pati ate niya nawala." he said.
"but I think, base sa Jea na kilala ko ngayon.. she'll handle things better, kahit nga siguro e disown din siya ni tito for dating you Jane.." he says bago nag pause, "I do not mean harm ha? I meant lang kasi, obvious namang ayaw ni tito sa sitwasyon if ever eh, but ako, suportado ko kayo, so yun, even if he disowns her, willing naman ako sumuporta sa kanya, even financially." he said.
"plus she's 18, meron din naman siyang mana from her mom." he added.
Jane digested everything she's heard until Janella came back.
"oh, so, alam niyo na?" Janella asked them, voice not mad or anything..just her, being their Janella.
"how did it go?" Joj asked.
"he disowned me." she said with a chuckle sabay umupo sa tabi ni Jane.
Sumandal siya dito but Jane hugged her instead.
"meant even sa bahay d ako makakauwi, sa dorms pull out din ako dun since sya nagbabayad ng room ko, here sa school hindi na din niya ako susuportahan, pati kotseng gamit ko mawawala, everything except what my mother left me." she said.
"ako bahala sa dorm expenses mo Jea, para san pa't best friend mo ako tapos wala akong gagawin. sagot ko na yun!" nakangiting sabi ni Joj.
"I also have a house here.. you can stay there for all you want pag walang classes." Julia said with a smile din.
"you can also use my car, may motor naman ako eh." Joshua offered na nakangiti din sa kanya.
"tulungan kita sa expenses dito sa school insan." Marc said.
"ako na bahal sa 80% expenses sa tuition at other needs niya Marc." Jane said, holding Janella near her.
Naiyak nalang si Janella sa mga sinabi ng mga 'to.
"how did I even have you all? anong ginawa ko to deserve you guys?" she asked.
Julia, the one person she's not that close yet answered, "you're a good person Jea. at kung yung mga taong hindi mabuti deserve yung mga magagandang bagay, pano nalang ikaw diba?" that made her smile.
"thank you." was all she can say as they all hugged her.
