11. A Progress?

RJ's POV

'Is it possible?'

The thought that lingers in my mind ever since I watched her bus leaving, and still... I'm here standing at the exact same place, lost with the things that just happened.

'Is it possible that her feelings was still there?'

I heaved a sigh as I felt something complicated.

Maybe with how can a relationship work with a person still holding on the memories that the other doesn't remember anymore.

We can just do everything again. Visit the places twice, do the same things and once she do....

"I don't want her to suffer with how we ended... With knowing what she's gone through" I told myself as I tucked my hands in my pockets.

'she seems like she doesn't remember that she's ill back then and I know, she didn't have the best memories growing up with that'

"And looks like she's completely fine now even though there's a lot missing" I spoke as I let out a deep sigh.

'and seems like her parents didn't do anything about that'

Seeing that my bus was appearing, somehow, it lead me to decide what I should do at this moment.

Rest and let things happen.

We're treating each other like there's more with it and I know it's real. She may not know things but I feel it.

Her love hasn't faded.

With hope, I went in the bus and tried to ease my mind as I anticipate seeing a certain someone the next day.

3rd POV

Morning quickly came and like what happened the other night is a normal thing between the two, they talked and had their time together for breakfast.

Maybe it became usual or a routine to go to work way earlier just to have their time spent with each other.

Or they just wanted to. Even without agreement. Just... Felt.

Ryujin in that case, chose not to suppress her feelings towards her lover now that she figured out that the other hasn't forgotten those feelings that they built back then.

She became as caring as she was, complimenting the other non-stop and acting like they are still together even though... No one knows what place they are actually in right now.

But that was the least of priority for her since her person is already right there, in front of her, spending the time with her and all she want is to have the time they had lost for years.

"Hey Lucy, I heard there's a newly opened club nearby. Just asking if you'd like to come" her officemate came and tapped her shoulder as the person spoke.

The two were eating at the cafeteria, facing each other and unlike how Yeji usually eat together with her workmates, somehow, she ended up offering her time to be with the whiskered.

Yeji glanced first at Ryujin and she was just smiling at her but why... Why did she seems like asking for permission?

With that reaction from the other, Yeji nodded at her officemate who squeals in delight as they bid their goodbye, just greeting Ryujin with a smile.

"So... Ahm... Yeah..." Yeji spoke like there's a guilt on agreeing with the offer, now only focusing her attention to her food.

"Enjoy the party. Just book an uber if it ended too late, it's dangerous if you walk alone" Ryujin spoke that made the other look at her but now, the whiskered is the one who's not looking at her.
