3rd POV

Morning soon comes and it could mean a new chance.. a new beginning.. a new day to spend with your loved ones.

Ryujin, still in her deep slumber, maybe the longest sleep she had ever since, has those eyes roaming under the closed lid as if picturing someone who unbeknownst to her, just laying on the side, watching her.

She was laying on her side while her hands were placed near her face, allowing the brunette to fiddle their fingers together while facing the whiskered.

This is not the position they slept in but the brunette may have panicked a little as soon as she opened her eyes, feeling someone's warmth on her back, that made her move away.

Cursing with how she can't get back on being hugged by the whiskered once again, she found herself watching this person who makes her keep on thinking about things..

The things that she started to imagine...

The possibility of them, spending their future together.

Until her peaceful time of watching had finally come to an end as Ryujin started to wake up and was immediately greeted with a little "Good morning" by the brunette.

Don't know where to look, or even say anything, just her sleepy eyes couldn't meet those feline eyes at the moment.

She just nodded and moved to sit, rubbing her eyes gently.

"So ahm..." Yeji copied her movements and then tried to say something just to start a light morning conversation.

Ryujin waited, settling her hands down while watching how Yeji was yet to find the right words for her to say.

"Ahm... Yes. Good morning" Yeji greeted again with a troubled smile.

"You already said that" Ryujin spoke, not showing any change of emotion.

"Yes, I think I did" she looked at the side as she bites her lower lip. As if stopping herself from cursing or saying another word that will just cause her embarrassment.

Then a sigh was heard.

Yeji quickly turned her head back to look at the whiskered, afraid that the other have run out of patience and that's the least thing she wanted.

But it was different.

Ryujin looks a bit hesitant about something.

"Say it." With the tip of Yeji's index finger, she touched Ryujin's knee, enough to get her attention.

"Nothing. Let's just get off the bed for now" and after that, she turned around to exit the room.

Yeji took her time alone knocking her head for such an embarrassing morning.

After a few minutes, done with fixing herself for a bit, she decided to follow the whiskered and definitely loved the sight she's seeing.

Ryujin was at the kitchen, doing something that presumably their breakfast.

"Take a seat" she said, but was still hesitant to even have a glimpse of the brunette who sat across her.

They could've been surrounded with silence, if not for the clanking of the utensils.

But Yeji wasn't disturbed at all, maybe loss with the beauty of the person she's watching cook right now.

There's this smile that can't seem to fade off even though Ryujin's attention was solely on the food she's making.

After settling the food on the table, both in front of them, ryujin sat across the cat eyed who was still lost with everything that's just happening.

Ryujin was the one who took the first bite while still feeling Yeji's fixated gaze on her, she planned to stay quite but that plan wasn't meant to happen.
