Kim Seokjin's POV

"What's her name again?" I asked Ahjumma while leaning on the kitchen counter and eating my gummy bears as I watched her coat the brined napa cabbages with the spicy red sauce that she made to make kimchi.

"Who?" She asked, not even sparing me a glance.

"The new maid."

"Kwon Boram. Why?"

I shook my head. "Nothing. Can I not know? She's my employee."

Finally, she gave me a look but raised her brow. I didn't understand what that meant, but I no longer asked or spoke.

Kwon Boram.

She makes great food.

I could only get more impressed with every food she prepared for me. I began to wonder about her background ㅡ Maybe she went to culinary school or something ㅡ because even if she makes simple dishes, they taste like food from a Michelin-star restaurant.

Each time that I saw her, I grew more curious.

She looked young and seemed naive about the world, physically speaking, yet she was here in my house to work. I wondered why she was already working so much because aside from here, I heard from Ahjumma that she also has a part-time job.

I (or Ahjumma) usually get middle-aged people as my employees, and she seemed younger than that. It turned out that she was only twenty-one years old.

Ahjumma couldn't answer all my questions about her which led me to hire a private investigator to do a background check on her.

Why was I doing that? Aside from curiosity ㅡ, that's all I could think of.

She seemed like a nice woman, in fact, also transparent, and I figured she gets really flustered when we're in the same room. I would also catch her staring at me, and when I look back, she gets flustered and would blush.

I found it adorable of her, not gonna lie.

But come on, who can resist looking at this handsome face? So I let her stare at me most of the time. I mean, there is a saying which is 'share your blessings,' and that's what I was doing.

It was another day, another morning of getting to eat the food that she prepared. However, it's still too early and she must have just arrived here.

I went down to get some water because I forgot to fill my bottle last night. While I drank, I felt and heard the presence of someone behind me, so I turned around and found her standing frozen in her spot, staring at me.

I smirked, and I chuckled after noticing the change of color in her cheeks.

"You make it too obvious that I'm indeed a gorgeous human being. I look like a Greek God, don't I?" I asked, then grinned. I then drank some water from the glass that I was holding.

"Uhm, what?" She dumbfoundedly looked at me.

I snorted, shaking my head. "Has my good looks taken away your thoughts?" I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Wah, if I was really a god, my power would probably come from my handsome face. Don't you agree?"

"Uh, I guess so?" She answered, sounding unsure.

"You're not sure?" I asked, looking at her with a serious glare, feeling like messing with her. She stood stiff in her position, seeming nervous yet still confused about what was happening.

That was why I enjoy seeing her. She easily gets confused and flustered, and her reactions say it all. It isn't annoying to look at because it's not something dramatic or an overreaction. It's cute, and subtle but still seen.
